China Warns U.S. To Stay Out Of Sea Dispute

If China had not challenged the U.S. why are we hearing about the "China threat" b.s. all the time?

We Americans have an idiom: "All talk and no cider" or "The greatest talkers are always the least doers" so what you have admitted "China threat" b.s. all the time; that's why!

. .
Well if the USA try to wade into this conflict, we will probably see a rerun of the Korean crisis where Chinese boats tail American aircraft carrier all the way through international waters, military tension runs high again and economic games played behind the scene like dumping the dollar, and calling for a new reserve currency etc. I don't think America would want to go through that episode again.

Who is China's BIGGEST CONSUMMER? If you know the answer then you would not think as you did above!

So you admit that China threat doesn't exist. Thnx.

.
Yes now! The more radical people will talk about why the U.S. hadn't gone into Iran or North Korea despite numerous provocations from those countries and get the conclusion that the U.S. can't even "bully" them.

There is a reason for everything Siegecrossbow ;) Don't you know the phrase: Know yourself, know your opponents - 100 battles, 100 wins .

It is gonna end up being a game of chicken. Worst case would be no one blinking till the very end.

So, who do you think is the chicken?

Of course I know that phase. There is also another excerpt from the same book:

Therefore one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the most skillful. Seizing the enemy without fighting is the most skillful.

You should ask with a question, not a statement like that Siegecrossbow, for you are still not familiar with the idioms.

Thnx for acting like a jerk Peter.

I didn't meant to thank u BTW. Furthermore, what can be more aggressive than US government foreign policies!

China is, for its aggressive is unbelievable as you can see from this picture:

Even our Senator McCain has said: “the aggressive behavior of China and the unsubstantiated territorial claims that it seeks to advance” are “exacerbating tensions” in the waters. Other countries in the area do not think differently either.

There is also a famous phrase called "Speak softly and carry a big stick". It seems that someone remembers the big stick but forgot all about the speaking softly part.

China's claim over the area is older than McCain's country. No wonder he would say stuff like "unsubstantiated territorial claims".

We know that too, that is we STOP CONSUMMING "Made in China" stuffs

Thnx for acting like a jerk Peter.

Who is jerking you? If you really understood the idioms then you wouldn't make that satement; that's all. Idioms from different countries are hard to understand sometimes ...

I've heard a lot about boycotting Chinese made goods. This is helpful for both China and the U.S. since it will reduce pollution in China as well as help the U.S. economy become more important. Yet people continues to purchase vast amounts of stuff from China? Why is that the case. China is not forcing the U.S.

One more thing. You have conveniently ignored the fact that the various South East Asian nations have conflicts over the Islands themselves. Would that be the case if they followed the laws of the Sea, as you implied?

I just hope that we could be more respectful of one another individually as we carry on this argument.
