You are talking about some common sense of nuclear war, everybody knows that.

China has also been preparing for nuclear strike since threatened by US with atomic bombs in Korean War. We have big public shelter instead of small ones for each family. There's a big one in my university. Many of the shelters have been built in the Mao years, and more are still under construction together with each public building.

I agree with you that what's important is that whether you are ready. Many Chinese in this forum are satisfied with Chinese nuclear ability, but I'm not. In my eyes, China is still way behind the US in this area, no matter the striking ability or the defense system.

It's actually not about war, it's about balance. NO country can be as powerful as the US since the end of cold war. To restore the balance of the whole world, China should have not 1000 warheads but more than 5000 as the US, 20+ SSBN, and red B52/B1b/B2/2018 bombers. Now could you understand the logic?

China is also developing it's own NMD and TMD system, but that's unrelated with this topic, you can check it in other threads.

Think you misunderstood my point, not just you as a citizen have to be ready, in fact, the prospect of getting nuked is imprinted in each of our mind and we are prepared in according to the extreme.

What I am saying is not the way you can prevent getting hit, but you assume getting hit is the certain. As far as I know with my time in China, we never have once Nuke Drill in China, I had a dozen when I am back in the US, and I lived MORE than half my life in China.

There are no replacement for Chinese government as far as I know, when the current regime under nuclear attack, there are no certain plan of Continuity of Governance that allow China to function as a functioning government in the post-apocalyptic future. For you, it may be a possibility that China MIGHT be nuked, but for us, US getting nuke is a certainty and we prepare it on the scenario. And I am not talking about citizenry common sense, but actual governmental planning, drilling, mock scenario were all rehearse again and again in the US.

That level of readiness is not achieved and can be compared by any nation. We love our Apocalyptic Scenario, in fact we love them so much we have a "Survival business" that turn over about 50 millions each years. The shelter things is just one of the dimension we measure the readiness of Future Nuclear War, but by no mean that was the only indication. This bomber carries stealth cruise missiles. Bomber plus missile range is around 5000 km. Enough to cover Guam and Hawaii.

Nukes are the best option for China against USA. A few nukes on NYC, DC, LA, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Dallas and USA will unconditionally surrender.

Better copy than nothing. We need it and there's already a good one, then we will copy. We need it but no one have ever made it before, we will invent. When it's time of live or death, no one cares about whether your weapon is copied or not.

The han people and tibetans have been living together for thousands of years, so that's not the problem.
I do think that most Indians will survive, so after the global nuclear war Indian will become a superpower.

This bomber can turn every American base in our region to dust particles. That's the purpose of this bomber. We won't have any problem humiliating the US once again like we did in the Korean War and Vietnam war.

Chill down my fellow PDF members. I know almost everybody on here is a fanboy, but come on, we are all adults here and knowledgeable enough to know that there will never be a dierect war between big world powers. be it U.S , Russia, China, etc. it will mean the end of the world as we know it. So its simply out of the question. Our governments/generals are not fools afterall. There might be regional conflicts, cyber war/attacks, economic/military espionage, and proxy wars using Small regional countries like phillipines or vietnam against China, OR Ukraine/georgia against Russia, or pakistan against India, but there will never be a dirst war between the U.S nad China, full stop. So we should discuss something else than a scenario that we all know(well i believe we all do.lol) will never come to pass.

Well, what I see from H-6K? It's beautiful. I don't want to compare it with other plane / bomber. What I want to say in here is that H-6K boost China capability in deliver bomb and long range missile. It is dangerous and capable. And it give PLA more option to destroy when fighting in a war.

It's depend on who is the adversary. If they use it against US Military, it will face a tough challenge. But if they use H-6K against South East Asia Nation, this bomber doesn't has even any challenge that can threaten her while she deliver her load to the target. If H-6K with her missile can reach Guam, then she can deliver her missile to any part of South East Asia country without any problem. with the help of their satellite and radar, It is a nightmare for anyone who have to face it.
