China unveils 600 South-South Cooperation projects

.
On behalf of China (& Hong Kong), Xi Jinping should invite GCC (UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar) and jointly develop the 600+ projects with their SWF's (Sovereign Welfare Funds). The two financial powerhouses can contribute a lot together, I look forward to deeper collaboration in the next China-GCC summit.

Other partners might include Singapore, and other oil-rich countries like Norway, Russia & Kazakhstan.

CHINA'S CITIC TO BUILD POWER PLANT IN ZIMBABWE

Sable Mining has signed an agreement with China's CITIC Construction Co. to build a 600-megawatt coal-fired power plant at the company's Lubu Coal Project in Zimbabwe.

The agreement is supported by the Republic of Zimbabwe and the Ministry of Energy and Power Development, which is the administration in charge of power development, the UK-based mining company said in a statement. The project aligns with the government's objective to development of energy and power generation in Zimbabwe.

"The combination of our quality coal together with CITIC's access to power plant infrastructure, financing and construction expertise has the potential to create a long term power supply," Sable Mining CEO Andrew Groves said.

Lubuc Coal Project is located on 19,236 hectares in the Hwange mining district of northwestern Zimbabwe. Coal from the mine will be used to fuel the plant. A timeline for development has not yet been released, but the two companies plan to rapidly pursue the feasibility of the Lubu project.

"Our team now looks forward to exploring the commercial potential of this MoU further with the CITIC team and moving forwards with this project at speed," Groves said.

The best news of today. I wished to share it had I had access to a laptop. Do not like to do it on smartphone.

So thank you @AndrewJin for catching and sharing it.

This is an example of Dragon's inclusive growth-with claws retracted.

And it is a lot more meaningful to be declared by the President at the UN in the aftermath of his meeting with US officials.

AIIB and BRICS Deeopment Bank will be put in good use.

The New Normal.
A dragon with claws retracted is like a tiger without teeth :P

That's what i call a rising superpower: The Red DRAGON:china::china::china:

No, China is a developing country.

America, and all around the globe who not only possess "brain power" but are embued with entrepreneurial, managerial, multilingual, multicultural skills and talents.

This talent pool of human resources if properly harnessed and linked-up with China's nascent "brain power" in entrepreneurship, in creative endeavors, in technology, can stimulate the synergies that are now stirring inside China.
This human resource scattered all around the world....can serve a positive, constructive win-win bridge in the new challenging world of globalization and cooperation-collaboration in the potential that can be unleashed in China's vision of the OBOR (One Belt-One Road) New Silk Route/ Maritime Belt initiative, and in South-South win-win collaboration to uplift the Third World and reform the First and Second World.

Besides, many of these huarens resettled, living, and working overseas in Southeast Asia, in North America, Australasia, in the U.K., facing ethnic racial discrimination and political marginalization and subhumanization where they are resettled.....they are poised to find new challenges in an environment where their skills and brain power are genuinely appreciated, not denigrated and blocked.
