well, can any one let us know what will be the assighnment/usage for this sattelite.

personally i dont think they will waste this satellite for putting internet bandwidth over it....

can any one let us know how much bandwith can it cater... we should use it for classified communication only which we are truly lacking in paksitan.

the pak army hardly have a real classified communication network, and yes i am pretty sure about it...

No, Israel and Russia do not launch Indian satellites. In-fact, Israel uses Indian launchers to launch their spy satellites. India bought a few cryogenic rocket engines for older versions of GSLV (Geosynchronous Satellitle Launch vehicle). For newer version of GSLV (GSLV Mk-II) indigenous cryogenic engines will be used. For heavier communication satellites (2-4Ton weight class), India uses European Space agencies' (ESA) launchers at a cost of approximately ~Rs. 200crores (~$50million) per launch.
Once GSLV Mk-III is commissioned (expected in 2012), India will be self-sufficient in space launchers. For spy satellites and remote sensing satellites, India is 100% self-sufficient in both satellites and launcher (PSLV) technologies.

Mr. Yin Liming visit Pakistan with Premier Wen Jiabao

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao paid official visit to Pakistan from December 17 to 19, 2010. Mr. Yin Liming, President of China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC) visit Pakistan at the same time.

On December 18, Mr. Yin Liming and Mr. Ahmed Bilal, Chairman SUPARCO signed the MOU for the Pakistan Remote Sensing Satellite (PRSS) Program, with the presence of Premier Wen Jiabao of the People’s Republic of China and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and attended the China-Pakistan Business Cooperation summit.

During the visit, Mr. Yin Liming and other representatives from Chinese enterprises were received by Premier Wen Jiabao, and had a group photo to mark the occasion.

it will be launched by Chinese long march rockets because Pakistan do not have a operational SLV...........

Well we do need to put at least 4-5 communication settelites up

a) We will have better telepone receptions
b) Better ability to handle vital ecommerce , and trade
and protecting state secrets thru encryption
c) Ability to allow our Channels and Entertainment
channels to operate via Settelite
d) Of course remote business locations could in theory
connect directly to settelite systems wireless

Just endless potential and trade capabilities to move the economy

And who knows 4-5 communication settelites and 1-2 military settelites will give us a bird's view on terrain don't do anything funny on home roof tops now eye is watching you

launching a satellite on their own will take years first they have develop their own SLV and test it and all this will take many more years all present countries had taken years to get such a capability or they can just copy the tech from china and stick their flag and name on it.....(just kidding....)
