Most of Bangladesh is delta region

So? dam or block every single exit or create a great wall of China at the delta ...I know it's a painfull task but I believe Bangladesh need a long term solution for the water shortage.

Bangladesh is lowland, they can't store water anywhere nor they need to. They use rivers for transportation because of so many river tributaries and Bengalis of both sides have fish and rice as a main food.

But don't you think that with Dams or barrages, Bangladesh can control the level of water they need and also prevent the sea water to move inland.
