BEIJING: China on Tuesday highly commended the tremendous efforts made by Pakistan to fight terrorism and offered to further enhance its cooperation with Pakistan to completely wipe out this menace.

“We highly appreciate the tremendous efforts made by Pakistan to fight terrorism and extremism and stand ready to further enhance cooperation with Pakistan in this regard,” Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Geng Shuang remarked during a regular press briefing.

When asked to comment on suicide bomb blast that caused heavy casualties and injuries during a public rally in Lahore yesterday, he said, “China opposes terrorism in all manifestations and strongly condemns the terrorist attack in the city of Lahore.”

On resignation announcement of the US National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn, he said, it was internal affairs of the United States and he was not going to make comments on that.

While responding to a question regarding the US’s consideration to a new exchange rate tactic aimed to avoid China-US confrontation, the spokesperson said, China did not deliberately devalue the RMB in order to gain an export edge. There was no basis for continuous depreciation of the RMB.

“China will continue to advance the reform of the RMB exchange rate formation regime and keep the RMB exchange rate basically stable at a reasonable and equilibrium level,” he added.

The spokesperson hoped that relevant parties view issues related to the RMB exchange rate in an objective light.

. .
its not about RMB depreciation its more to do with Chinese subsidies to industries for the sake of keeping employment up..which creates a massive circular debt..plus under cost dumping in export markets...

Pakistan and Chinese interest are inter-twined specially after materialization of CPEC. We need to root out the menace of terrorism together. Although Pakistan has a robust intelligence mechanism, yet information sharing with Chinese side may come in handy in fight against terrorism

hm. so in addition to Pak military bombing Pak locations, US drones bombing Pak locatiomns, now you will have Chinese also bombing Pak locations. Does this make any sense? Why not stop creating the jihadis in the first place?

Killing terrorists is good, regardless of whos pushing the button. Also the Americans haven't tried anything since mid-2016, and the Chinese aren't going to start drone strikes.

The source of this terrorism is the many Indian consulates on the Afghan and Iranian border, attacking this issue at its source will be an act of war against three different countries. best solution is to continue to break the will of these fools, and increasing military and intelligence capabilities.

Your views makes no sense. I think you should be a good reader instead of writing your views because these lines are far away from reality. :undecided:

So what they are helping us.

How about trying this approach in Kashmir.

Yes yes, western countries is hope for Pakistan while evil China will exploit Pakistan only. Western countries has all the while trying to make Pakistan into a top 10 economies. It's Pakistan fault that it didn't turn into reality until now.

We all know where your agenda is. :enjoy:

India witnessed the maximum bombings in the world last year, even more than war-torn Iraq and Afghanistan, according to a report.

There were 406 such incidents, which include IED and ordnance explosive blasts, in the country. Iraq came second with almost half the number at 221, the report by the National Bomb Data Centre (NBDC) said though it did not mention the casualties.

NBDC functions as the nodal post-blasts investigation department under country’s federal contingency force NSG. The report did sound a word of caution on the global data saying the centre obtained these figures from “open source”.

Neighbouring Pakistan witnessed a total of 161 incidents during 2016 followed by Afghanistan where 132 bombings were recorded, 92 in Turkey, 71 in Thailand, 63 in South Africa, 56 in Syria, Egypt 42 and 29 in Bangladesh among others.
