Well guess it is about time that the build up in borders should continue. The GOI has been abysmally slow in modernizing forces. We are currently doing what we should have done in 90s. I guessed they were just testing the steering controls to see if they can fly very close to the border without crossing it. A Chinese helicopter failed a similar test the other day.

Different government determines everything. It's all about the leadership. PRC has never lost a war. It has always won on either territory or kill ratios.

The end result was, we had a far higher kill ratio, we had a net gain of land, we won. So what if we turned back later? It was Indian incompetence to try and invade China with a small amount of troops that got thoroughly trounced.
