Yes, Pakistanis take great pride in knowing their national language besides their mother tongue. So yes, most Pakistanis are very fluent in Urdu.

Most or All?..My question is how does a Non Urdu speaking pakistani communicate with a Urdu speaking Pakistani in US..or such people never allowed to get out Pakistan in first place?
