it'll be quite a struggle for China to find anything that China still can buy from the west.
The west whines about record high trade deficit with China year on year, what do they expect China to do? there's not much we need from them, and will be even much less in the future, the unbalanced trade can only be worse. You say that as if it were a problem. Is it, really?

The rest of the world also buy more from China, they don't produce, where else does west can buy?As China simply produces more of the goods it needs itself, slowly the West will also buy less and less from China and more from other sources, since open trade is a two way street.
China should boost the consumption of its people. they worked hard, saved and invested enough.Trade between China and west will be more skewed in the future, western countries for decades used their massive car exports to China to help them reduce some deficit with China, but now even this strength is gone, China now doesn't have much to buy from the west even if she wants, it'll be quite a struggle for China to find anything that China still can buy from the west.
I guess the west should now start to shift completely to agriculture, farming and animal husbandry, China may be still willing to buy farm products in the foreseeable future, US, Canada and Australia now are like farmlands for China.

China always does, manufacturers always focus on the domestic market first, many of them hate to do imports and exports due to various rules.China should boost the consumption of its people. they worked hard, saved and invested enough.
Let them reap some benefit and let world serve them with some nice goods. Its win win for everyone.
China's labor cost is never the cheapest, if labor cost is the main thing, the global supply chain should have left China for at least a decade already.Alternative sources will develop in response to changing global requirements. China's cheap labor advantage is already ending. Others will take advantage of these changes.
That's completely none sense, check youtube there are many Chinese hospitals you can see.Chinese colleagues I work with, that have family in China say China still has a ways to go in terms of medical services, and that is their biggest desire to see improve? For example, the a hospital in Fujian doesn’t have central air and the hospital is humid inside. The air doesn’t seem as clean as it should be.

If China doesn't have air conditioners, nowhere else would have them. For example, the a hospital in Fujian doesn’t have central air and the hospital is humid inside. The air doesn’t seem as clean as it should be.

I’m not talking about producing, it how it’s implemented. A couple of Chinese born and raised people, who goes back to their cities (one in Fujian and one in Guangzhou) told me of their experience. If China doesn't have air conditioners, nowhere else would have them.

Is there anything that west can use to blackmail China? Any weak points? If not then China is on its way to the top.Trade between China and west will be more skewed in the future, western countries for decades used their massive car exports to China to help them reduce some deficit with China, but now even this strength is gone, China now doesn't have much to buy from the west even if she wants, it'll be quite a struggle for China to find anything that China still can buy from the west.
