Well, there are threads where people love to discuss about Toilets, poverty, separatist movements in India. But if we discuss these issues on a thread meant to be discussed something else then it really fails me.
We do welcome people to people contact between nations. We don't have blasphemy laws and other laws that bar people from contacting other cultures.
We still consider ourselves a developing nation and thats why we still like to focus on business in our bilateral relations rather than discomforting political issues be it China or Pakistan or any other nation.
It will take a different perspective to understand Indians who consider "donating" as a spiritual act. Even poorest of the poor will make a provision from his little earning to donate. I assume that its this philosophy that makes the Indian government make a provision for giving credit to needy countries. This line of credit is provided interalia to Nepal, Bangladesh and Mongolia. I fail to understand why China considers this as a strategic threat? Mongolia is too small to be a threat of any kind to China. Mongolia is not even a buffer state between India and China.

Ask those so called "untouchable" being who their lives and you don't get a happy answer, what China did is to lift millions of people out of poverty and give them a decent life. Chinese people live a much happier and decent life than Indians. You can deny it but you can't fool the world.

Have you traveled to China? I have and under no circumstances are Muslims barred from observing the five pillars of Islam. Except they don't allow high school students to fast which I feel the Government should change. Thousands of Chinese do Hajj every year.
