I doubt China wants to leave BRICS or replace it with PICS. BRICS is a pony show. Its purpose to brainwash the (general populace) in the West into believing China is still a developing country. If India got kicked out, the Collective West will go "oh, so since India no longer there, China is now a mid-developed country?" Very BAD international image to discard "I'm still in developing mode" for "I'm half-way developed"... You lose the (economic) stealth that allows you to sneak under the radar and surpass the US very quickly in the near future!
