China sends missiles to contested South China Sea island: Fox News

You have no clue what a red line is, apparently.

Hint: The USA drew a red line in Syria too. Several times. And every time, they backed down. :azn:

Now read something from your own experts:

By 2030, South China Sea will be ‘virtually a Chinese lake,’ US study warns – Asia Times

We are building up, and apparently no one wants to stop us. America in the 1990's would not have allowed it, but they have changed so much since then. They can't even hold their red lines over developing countries.

Nobody in the entire world takes America's "red lines" seriously anymore. That's why we are able to keep building and militarizing islands in the SCS. :enjoy:

You have no clue about "YOU GO!" Nobody takes China's "YOU GO" seriously anymore. Not the Europeans or even the Australians.

Long story short, America said we are not allowed to keep building and militarizing islands in the SCS. That was their red line.

Now can you tell me if a single person in the entire world believes America can enforce this red line. :enjoy:

Even you don't believe it yourself. Short of a nuclear war, nothing is going to stop us from building up the SCS. So either push the button, or we get to keep building. Apparently it's the latter.

Long story short, China says America cannot send U.S. warships or planes around the islands. Even established ADIZ. But that was tno going to do anything to deter American warships or planes nearby. No matter how many islands you build or what you put on or put through different stages or phases, it won't stop U.S. warships and planes from flying over South China Sea.:-)

China summons US ambassador to protest ship near reef

BEIJING (AP) — China summoned the American ambassador to protest the U.S. Navy's sailing of a warship close to one of China's artificial islands in the South China Sea, in an act that challenged Chinese sovereignty claims.

China's Foreign Ministry said on its website Wednesday that Executive Vice Minister Zhang Yesui told Max Bacaus that the U.S. had acted in defiance of repeated Chinese objections and had threatened China's sovereignty and security. While offering no details, Zhang said Tuesday's "provocative" maneuver also placed personnel and infrastructure on the island in jeopardy.

China was "extremely dissatisfied and a resolutely opposed" the U.S. actions, the ministry said. The U.S. State Department declined to confirm the Tuesday meeting, or comment on any remarks made on the issue.

China says authorities monitored and warned the destroyer USS Lassen as it entered what China claims as a 12-mile (21-kilometer) territorial limit around Subi Reef in the Spratly Islands archipelago, a group of reefs, islets, and atolls where the Philippines has competing claims.

The sail-past fits a U.S. policy of pushing back against China's growing assertiveness in the South China Sea. U.S. ally the Philippines welcomed the move as a way of helping maintain "a balance of power."

Since 2013, China has accelerated the creation of new outposts by piling sand atop reefs and atolls then adding buildings, ports and airstrips big enough to handle bombers and fighter jets — activities seen as attempting to change the territorial status by altering the geography."

"China will firmly deal with provocations from other countries," the statement said, adding that China would continue to monitor the air and sea and take further action when necessary.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang said such actions by the U.S. might end up spurring further advances in Chinas defense capabilities.

You think we care?

All we want is the islands. And apparently, America can't do anything about us building and militarizing the islands, or else they wouldn't be popping up out of the ocean every once in a while.

Whatever makes you feel better at night, we get to keep the islands, you get to keep pretending that the American superpower can enforce their red lines. When the entire world knows they can't.

Again, nobody in the entire world believed that China would stop building in the SCS because the crying superpower drew a red line. Even you guys don't believe it yourself.

International law permits military vessels the right of "innocent passage" in transiting other country's seas without notification, although China's Foreign Ministry labeled the ship's actions as illegal.

The U.S. says it doesn't take a position on sovereignty over the South China Sea but insists on freedom of navigation and overflight. About 30 percent of global trade passes through the South China Sea, which also has rich fishing grounds and a potential wealth of undersea mineral deposits.

China says it respects the right of navigation but has never specified the exact legal status of its maritime claims. China says virtually all of the South China Sea belongs to it, while Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam claim either parts or all of it.

Stop lying. You don't want just the islands. You want all of South China Sea.

None of that matters.

This is what matters:

By 2030, South China Sea will be ‘virtually a Chinese lake,’ US study warns – Asia Times

One day, you'll look back and wonder, why didn't we stop them back then? Now it's too late. :partay:

In fact it is already too late, but it may take a while for you to figure that out.

Right now, today, there is nothing you can do. Like I said, nothing short of a nuclear war is going to stop us building up and militarizing the SCS.

.
.
So that is an admission that China wanted South China Sea all along instead of just the islands.:-)

There is nothing you can do.

Just sit back and watch us building up the SCS.

Or summon up the guts to push that big red nuclear button. Since that is the only thing in the world that can stop it. Anything less will simply be ignored, like all of America's other "red lines".

Sure there is, as long as U.S. warships and planes fly over, South China Sea won't be Chinese lake. No matter how much you protest about it. Only nuking the U.S. would stop it.:-)

Or as some Chinese posters going through different phases or levels whatever they meant.

You are just repeating what I am saying.

The problem is, what you are saying doesn't make any sense. China is gaining territory, we are building islands out of nowhere. While America is getting weaker and weaker, they are even running scared of an undeveloped country like North Korea. :P

As time goes on this process is simply going to speed up.

Sending U.S. warships and planes makes sense to show that China can't do anything about it when trying to claim the islands and all of South China Sea. All you can do is sit and watch and maybe say "YOU GO!" again.:-)

Keep thinking like that.

The second phase of the land building has already started, we don't mind you sending few aircrafts for peeping for now.

You may think the launching of DF21D, DF31A last week are just for show, but we think otherwise. We are ready for whatever is going to come.

So weak. What a shame.

America actually was capable of upholding their red lines once, back in the 1990's.

But today, that's all gone. America is getting weaker and weaker by the day, even developing countries can send them running and crying. Even an undeveloped country like North Korea can do this.

The sad end of a once mighty superpower.

2nd phase, 3rd phase, doesn't matter. You think a DF-21 already keep U.S. warships from getting near China even thousands of miles away. Instead they still patrolling just alot closer.

"YOU GO" is a weak and shameful act. Ain't capable of keeping U.S. warships and planes patrolling in your waters.

I love how upset America gets when they realize that no one in the world, not even they themselves believe they can uphold their "red lines" anymore.

South China Sea, Crimea, the Philippines, Georgia, North Korea, Syria, the list is endless.

And this thread topic is simply another thing which surprises no one, that America's "red lines" got ignored once again. They are getting weaker and weaker as time goes on, nobody believes they can enforce these red lines.

Whatever, let's keep building.
