China sends missiles to contested South China Sea island: Fox News

Uncle Sam deploys many soldiers and weapon around korea .
Why do not you just use your army to kill fat Kim ?

Why doesn't fat Kim give up trying to conquer South Korea?

You care to explain why US never declared victory over the Korean war? show me some backup in US textbooks?
When USA joined the war, SK was pushed back to PUSAN,
When China joined the war, the allies were at Yalu River.
The war ended at 38th.
Neither side was willing to sacrifice more for a unified Communist/Democratic Korea.
Both sides achieved their objective.

If your planes aren't dropping bombs while near our island, then there is no point.

If recon planes and warships are patrolling near China, then there is no point in the islands if you can't keep them away from patrolling there for many years right?

I can say the same thing, if your planes and ships aren't attacking/taking the islands, there is no point in patrolling right?

The point of the islands is to bully small countries like Vietnam and the Philippines. The US isn't a claimant in the SCS, so why would China care how many times you decide to sail or fly through the area? China will eventually shoot down some Vietnamese aircraft and sink some ships. I'm willing to bet money the US isn't going to stick its neck out to defend communist Vietnam.

I'm willing to bet money.:)

That would be WAY too much work for a internet website. We are talking about Pakistan Defence Forum, not an off book site for the NSA (oops, I have said too much). It hardly worth the effort to do something like this and be this manipulative. If he have to resort to this kind of tactic on this website, then I would say he got WAY too much time on his hand.

I don't feel betrayed by him, probably and simply because I don't know him, people can take whatever stance they choose, as I said, I don't really mind he is anti-American and sort of "Betrayed" all those who were friendly to him before, I just wish he did that with class but not resort to one liner and insult and racist comment for it.

By the way, I still don't know who is the second Filipinos that are pro-CCP. I counted Opruh but I thought you said he is not actually Filipino?

Well it could be that he is a Filipino that is pro-CCP, a foreigner that have lived here in the Philippines for sometime, or just a troll. The other is Fsjal, though he is not as active or as extreme as opruh, but his comments here are pro-CCP. He was also active in the old CDF forums before it went down.

Couldn't have said it better myself. There is no point in making peace with the entire world. If that were true, then China would have to make peace with the US herself and tolerate her meddlings in the East...

US only interested in SCS b/c they could sell stuff to the other side, and to learn/observe the island-building strategy, no other reasons.

Hands up. Who wants to buy fighter jets for China to shoot down, or warships for China to sink? In fact US is counting on China to further militarize the SCS with these provocative patrols. It only means US could sell more replacements in the future...

Indeed, say hello to another U.S. warship or plane that goes by the island.:-) Probably say "YOU GO!" again.:yahoo:

The funny thing is, when the US drew a "red line" in the South China Sea, no one thought the most they could do was patrols.

It turns out the "red line" was a joke, as usual. :azn:

And the island building and militarization continues at full pace. :enjoy: Just imagine how much we will have built after 5-10 years!

People thought that the U.S. wouldn't dare send ships next to the islands. Or that China would sink the ships like some Chinese posters said before. But it happened and China didn't do anything.:-)

Is that really your definition of a "red line"?

USA: Stop building and militarizing islands in the South China sea... OR ELSE!

China: Or else what?

USA: Um we'll sail some planes in the same places we did before. :(

:enjoy: The incompetent superpower can't even hold their red lines over a developing country. It's a joke, no one in the entire world believed that China would stop building in the SCS because the Americans drew a "red line". Not a single person in the entire world believed that America had the guts to enforce it.

And, surprise surprise. Island building and militarization in the SCS actually increased in speed.

As one Chinese poster said something about the next phase to prevent American warships from patrolling in your so called Chinese waters.

You have no clue what a red line is, apparently.

Hint: The USA drew a red line in Syria too. Several times. And every time, they backed down. :azn:

Now read something from your own experts:

By 2030, South China Sea will be ‘virtually a Chinese lake,’ US study warns – Asia Times

We are building up, and apparently no one wants to stop us. America in the 1990's would not have allowed it, but they have fallen so much since then. They can't even hold their red lines over developing countries anymore.

Today, nobody in the entire world takes America's "red lines" seriously. That's why we are able to keep building and militarizing islands in the SCS. :enjoy:
