Never heard of the Ye Shiwen controversy. Maybe it was made into a bigger deal inside China more that outside China. The only one I remember is the Chinese gymnasts who looked like 8 year olds next to all the women gymnasts from every other country.

It was big story because Michael Phelp's team mate at the time , forgot his name was saying and I paraphrase, "how can she be faster than me, unless she is possibly doping."

Shows he is a sore loser and a bit of a chauvinist attitude as he think no women can beat men in athletic competition.

As I said the only big controversy I remember was the tiny Chinese gymnasts. There's always teams yelling about officiating/cheating/doping and stuff in every olympics. If some Chinese swimmer was called a doper then she can just join a long list generated during every Olympics.

What I state is factual. Someone already did a tally of the number of medals won by black people in US in the Olympics. When he took away the black athletes medal, US medal count was dismal.

Nobody is forcing African-Americans to represent the United States at the Olympics. They compete under their own volition. To assert that African-Americans are being "used" is utter nonsense.
