Yeah, Most of the country do not recognize Taiwan.Apparently the link below provides the address to the embassy
https://www.indianvisaonline.org.in/embassy/taiwan
Or could just be a passport office
I'm not sure what other mechanism other than embassy or consulate that can issue business and travel visas.
Anywyas was just curious how travel is arranged under the ambiguous setup if Indian doesn't recognize Taiwan as a country!
He he... then the Indian people keep on complaining that the Chinese are less supportive for all the Indian Supa Powa ambitions... in this world, there's cost for everything...
Yeah, Most of the country do not recognize Taiwan.
That's not enough man. You do realize any country can simply recognize Taiwan overnight? It is just a technicality.Enough said.

They have a small army. Having strength of around 130k. If you look at the equipments, it looks pretty decent for a good defense.

A decent navy, An air force close to the size of Pakistan. May be a little bit more advanced if you look at the fighters.
Taiwan, according to China is a break away province, which has it's own Private army, Navy and Air force and have their own missiles and still buying stuffs against China's will, And accidentally fired a Supersonic missile at China recently.
Citizens have democratic rights, can vote, hold elections. People have Individual passports etc... They have embassies, or as they call it Taipei - xyz(country) Economic and Cultural center in many countries. You need a visa to go there and you can't apply for Taiwan visa in Chinese embassy, unless you want to troll the Chinese.
Ow nothing. I was just explaining him the scenario.Yes. PRC and ROC is in a state of unfinished Civil war. So what is new
Any country can recognize Tibetan exile government in India. It is just a technicality. The problem is in UN where China has the final say on everything. That's not enough man. You do realize any country can simply recognize Taiwan overnight? It is just a technicality.

"Be careful what you wish for !!! It might actually come true"Why india not recognizing taiwan as a country? Is modi afraid of being spanked by China again? Lol
During the apartheid ? I doubt any Chinese citizen can travel to South Africa that far back ago. Now that country's biggest trading partner is China and China has loads of investment there. So come back to today's world, not far back in the past when most of PDF users here were not even born.Taiwan maintains trade missions and in general Taiwanese are considered more "civilized" by the Rest of the World. During the apartheid for example, in South Africa - Taiwanese nationals visiting were given "honorary white" status so they could use better facilities but this was denied to Chinese citizens.
Taiwan's economy now is full integrated into Mainland China's and many young people come to China to look for jobs. We are not in a hurry to reunite Taiwan now, it'll happen naturally when we become No. 1 in everything.Lol! Don't stick to the UN. UN is just a group consisting of countries. It has no authority on individual countries.
Tibetan exile government is not like Taiwan, don't compare apple to oranges.
My friend, I am not making this up. There were ethnic Chinese who fought alongside Gandhi during Apartheid to secure their rights. In 1970s and 1980s, as Taiwan started investing in South Africa - Taiwanese were given this status but ethnic Chinese were not.During the apartheid ? I doubt any Chinese citizen can travel to South Africa that far back ago. Now that country's biggest trading partner is China and China has loads of investment there.
