Yet according to the BBC country ratings poll, China has a higher postive rating worldwide than India does.

Anyway it is silly to compare the rise of China and India.

China's economy is bigger than that of Russia, India and Brazil combined (the other BRIC countries). India's economy on the other hand, is still smaller than that of Brazil alone, or even Italy.

China is the 2nd largest economy in the world, that has sustained double-digit growth for several decades. India is the country with more poor than Africa, and 40 years behind China in terms of social indicators (according to the Economist).

Now, calculate 9% of 6 trillion... and then compare that to 6.9% of 1.5 trillion.

Then tell me how much more China is adding to our economy every year than India is. That will feel much worse than looking at your double-digit inflation.

It seem Chinese are fed from early age that they are some how superior because of the IQ. $hit, I can't stop laughing. But anyways, it seems they look down on others who couldn't live up to their IQ.

Yeah they were also fed that they had bigger brains than the rest, also heard that they thought them that the chinese had 2 brains when everyone else had 1.

India has 6.9% GDP growth... and 9.73% inflation (almost double-digit)

Now considering that China's economic base size is already four times larger than that of India... I have NO idea how they can spin that data into being bad news for China, and good news for India.

its not the facts that causes malicious reactions, its the intent behind it. nobody disputes the facts, and India does have plenty of issues to deal with.
but quite a few members indulge in demeaning attacks which serve no purpose other than troll fests.

we all have plenty of domestic issues to deal with, but mud-slinging at each other isn't gonna solve anything.

And India has been one since almost 40 years. I used to read in my std 5 text books that we are a developing country and now 20 odd years later my nephew reads the same in his text book!!!!!

On our side we as citizens are selfish and corrupt ourselves and busy in electing people who are same. When the leaders are selfish and only interested in own economic progress how can you expect anything good? And the leaders are not born, we elect them from our own society. There are decisions made in India, but why do they (operation blue star for one) end up as disasters?

Actually, things aren't that good in China, but we mostly have the direction right. There are alot of problems that China and India share in terms of government.

Kerala has two political fronts. The Congress dominated UDF and CPI dominated LDF.

The two invariably get elected alternatively. As such they each perform and provide governance. The LDF knows if it does not work, it is doomed. UDF also same. So the improvement in state.

On the other hand, the continued presence of Communist government in West Bengal led to stagnation of state leading it to become a tail ender from one of the most advanced state of India. This led to its ultimate downfall after almost 4 decades.
