China, Russia back India on UN terror resolution targeting Pakistan!

Yes...it may not be Pakistan specific...but all three countries are victims of cross border terrorism on their soil. China in Xnjaing, India in Kashmir and Russia in Chechnya.

But the point here is India - China relations have their own dynamics based on trade, economics and markets that are independent of China - Pakistan relations, and that may not be good for Pakistan as it is looking for pivot to tackle larger India after US abandoned Pakistan.

The US isn't abandoning Pakistan, it cannot afford to abandon Pakistan. China isn't going to compromise it's relationship with Pakistan, it's closest political and military ally, just for India's sake. If something is independent of the China-Pakistan relation, I fail to see how that would affect said relationship, unless it was intricately linked to it. Pakistan isn't looking to tackle India, that's silly propaganda, Pakistan is trying to make sure it is strong enough to repel any sort of Indian aggression, and it is justified in doing so.

Please go to the page 3, point#10, which reads:

"The Ministers reiterated that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations committed by whomever, wherever, and for whatever purposes, is a threat to international peace and security, a grave violation of human rights and a crime against humanity. The Ministers affirmed the need for all countries to join efforts in combating terrorism under the auspices of the United Nations, in accordance with the UN Charter and principles and norms of international law and for the robust implementation of relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy. They called for early conclusion of negotiations on the Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism. The Ministers reiterated that there can be no ideological, religious, political, racial, ethnic, or any other justification for acts of terrorism. They underlined the need to bring to justice perpetrators, organizers, financiers and sponsors of terrorist acts. Highly alarmed by the new trends in international terrorist acts, the Ministers emphasized the need to step up information gathering and sharing, prevent the use of the Internet and other information and communication technologies (ICTs) for the purposes of recruitment and incitement to commit terrorist acts, as well as for the financing, planning and preparation of their activities, block the channels of terrorist movement and financing of terrorism, and promote de-radicalization, while respecting international law".

Now that is all that is said and agreed upon and no sane person would disagree with the contents. Similarly, no sane person would automatically assume that this is Pakistan -specific for there is no mention of Pakistan here. When it comes to support terror, India will also not be spared for her support for Sindhoo Desh, BLA, and TTP. India has also been supporting terror in East Pakistan and in Sri Lanka.

Pakistani media should also do little homework before forwarding tabloid stories of Indian media.

Do you know the implications of this? Do you know anything about the diplomatic niceties involved? Do you know the consequences of the above resolution?

In any case, if you believe this is not relevant for Pakistan (or raither against Pakistan), they should also support this resolution and vote in favor. After all terror has no 'no ideological, religious, political, racial, ethnic, or any other justification for acts of terrorism' Just go ahead and vote in favor. Then we'll see.

And what about the level of Indian media? Plastic surgery was done in India thousands of years ago whereas normal surgery was not there until English came..

there is Really nothing like all weather friend in world politics, its all about mutual interests, if china sees something benificial in India, she will support us, look how we are going into a solution slowly slowly on border dispute, once we solve it, you won't see any reason for indo-china conflict.

I don't see China ditching Pakistan.

It is a possibility. The Chinese know one thing - business. No emotional or sentimental stuff, them. Look at Vietnam(they were their allies once), Korea, India D ) etc.

This resolution even though it is initiated by India, Russia and China supported because it is needed. Pakistan's Jihadi factory pose a threat to the countries around it. These groups has potential to create chaos and create conflicts between countries.

This is not entirely an Indian initiative, based on the larger context the above three countries supported this resolution.

There is always a threat where a powerful country can influence Pakistan and destabilize the region.
