History China had been a country within the boundary of Great Wall of China. This is their original China which they call as first United China.

Let me show you what is the 'History China':

Because Qin Dynasty is the first empire of China that united many kingdoms. It is also the first Chinese dynasty that run the system of prefectures and counties. That is why it is called "the first United China".

We begin our history with Indus Valley civilization, by the time of Vedic culture we started to call our land as Aryavarta but later on name Bharat became most popular which is still used today. Here is the ancient Indian verse.

well, indeed the Ming had been a military superpower at that time, too.

the Ming troops, around beginning of 15 century, defeated Dai Viet army, conquered the country and integrated Vietnam back into the Chinese empire. the quick defeat came as shock for Vietnam. but some years later, Dai Viet under Le Loi re-organised the army and crushed the Ming troops thanks to better firearms and fighting spirit.

an interesting aspect in this period is, according to Ming shi (history of the Ming dynasty), after the war with Dai Viet, tens of thousands of Vietnamese served in the Ming goverment and army. they helped China (Yongle emperor) in the war against the Mongols.

Vietnamese used to help Ming to improve their skill in crafting better firearms, since they learned much from the Portuguese and other westerners.
But that's not the main point, the point being that the Qing dynasty didn't defame Ming like other many Chinese dynasties did to the former rulers, but prettify it.
