I could be wrong but I haven't seen any country official or expert came out to conglatulate or testify Indian's claim to be the 5th nation to build their own carrier. This like a self proclamation to me

Only few countries has that expertise and India is one of them. For Chinese it will take a decade atleast until they have the required experience and expertise and a mature Operational manual. Until then their ACs are sitting ducks.

As for now Russians are trying to estabilish the landing operational procedure for Indians pilots while we're doing by ourself. I bet that when China start to operate a carrier battle group, Indians pilots still learn on how to land on the carrier.

India only has operational experience with a small 50 year-old aircraft carrier and a handful of old and obsolete Sea Harriers. That is a whole world away from operating a 40,000+ tonne aircraft carrier like INS Vikrant and Vikramaditya with Mig-29s!!!!!!! In the real world you cannot compare them both, so lets get real for a moment.

China on the other-hand is gaining aircraft carrier experience with the help of Brazilian Navy and we are already getting massive experience with the 67,000 tonne Liaoning. So actually, while the PLAN has been gaining experience with Liaoning in commission, India has yet to receive its first proper aircraft carrier - meaning the PLAN has more operational experience with a REAL aircraft carrier than India.
