Chinese need to realize that the Arabs are self-loathing and a self-hating bunch. Bushes and Mossad did 9/11, blamed Arabs that are still alive today for hijacking the planes (yes, many of the 9/11 so-called 'hijackers' are still in 2020 walking around on earth in the Muslim world, after being blamed for flying passenger jets into the World Trade Center). Much more needs to be done, I wouldn't have noticed this video if not for this thread.

There has been an ongoing, coordinated smearing compaign against china in here even before the corona virus and have only grown bolder after, we used to hear nothing on China only 2 years ago.

China should really consider investing more on its softpower projection, specially for neutral regions like Africa and the middle east, what it has been doing is disproportionate to its size.

There was a time when China had enough sympathy in the Arab world to conduct effective influence campaigns but that time has passed since China's insensitive and crude repression of the Uyghurs and increasing Islamophobia coming from both China's govt. and society.

China does not know how to interact with and communicate with people of other cultures and that will be the major wall to its soft power projection. You can only use your wallet and some bullshit "win win" slogan so many times.
