Long live the Japanese and Indian partnership!

South Tibet will be fully staffed with our flags with the whole or partially collapsed Japanese infrastructures intact in due course.
Indians should spend more money to the brink of breaking the banks
for a territory soon returning sovereinty to its rightful owner.
Thank you!

You know it's Japan who is the one provoking China. Despite having an agreement on the disputed island, Japan made the mistake of antagonizing China and now Kishida feel the urge to meddle AP's sovereignty between China and India. On the other hand China has never made any statement in regards to the Dokdo and Kuril disputes. Japan is sadly undiplomatic with right wing politicians running the show. This will only jeopardize closer ties if politicians keep making blunders.

The Japanese Government already made a public correction to the Chinese Government.

To quote Hong Lei, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, " The Japanese side made it clear to us that it takes no sides on the disputed areas between China and India, and will not intervene. They also made a public clarification about this."

You can read it at:

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hong Lei's Regular Press Conference on January 19, 2014

A statement with a big implication on the territorial dispute is a big issue and not merely unintentional gaffes made by Japan FM.

It was an unintentional mistake by Kishida.

Intentionally or not China government consider the statement seriously contradict by Japan government prior official stand on the disputed between India and China, China want Japan government to clarify Japan FM statement because statement not align with Japan government official statement.

And it was already clarified by the Japanese Foreign Ministry through direct intergovernmental channels. Kishida was made known of his error. Trade continues and development continues , but only in areas outside Arunachal Pradesh.

There is no issue any longer.

@Nihonjin1051

Why so apologetic over a dispute that is not recognized by anyone in the world other than China?

Because contrary to what some agitators would like to believe, Japan is highly sensitive to the region -- as we are vested in growth for our partners. Both China and India are our partners. And this partnership will continue unhindered.
