US already has a large presence and will continue to do so in the future.

China will be deploying carrier battle groups by next decade.

Pakistan and BD Navy will be armed with modern frigates and submarines.

How will India dominate the Indian Ocean then?

Too many Indians have wet dreams of controlling Indian Ocean just because the name is Indian

Its the numbers game. By the time BD and Pakistan owns, frigates and destroyers, we will be having Next gen frigates and destroyers.
We would be having 3CBG .
We would be having SSN and SSBN.
Not to forget, we would be having dedicated Naval satellites, which our neighbours wont have.

BD already has 8 Mig-29s which were 4th generation fighters last time I checked and it has already ordered YAK-130 4th generation trainers. Not too long before more 4th generation fighters are ordered.

Indians think that only their Navy is expanding then no-one else's will in South Asia

OK. BD Navy will be no match for India but it will be getting much more powerful into the future and has already ordered 4 modern Type-056 corvettes from China. It is only a matter of time before modern frigates with VLS SAMs are also ordered, again most probably from China as they will offer the best price/performance ratio.

Important thing to remember with BD is that it will be spending a much larger of it's defence budget on the Navy compared to either India or Pakistan and hence will be relatively stronger at sea.

Good luck dominating the Indian Ocean with your medium sized carriers against much larger US and Chinese carriers who will also be escorted by far more modern SSN's.

Being patriotic is fine. But not to be blindly patriotic, that might not show us the reality.
Modern SSN being detected 22 times? Is it modern? Everybody knows, that chinese nuke subs are extremely noisy and detectable, proven by Indian sonars.

You mean the one you beg from US? Currently INS has nothing capable to make a Heavy mechanized landing in unprepare or shallow shore. The LCAC i just posted is capable of landing MBT on shallow water. Your USS Treton can only carry the MBT but they still need to make on enemy shore by themselves. Or you expect the enemy to lay a red carpet for your armed forces to land on their shore?

This is really stupid of u. Why do u want to take on India's amphibious warfare? Our doctrine is self defence, and we dont give much importance to that till now. Now Jalashwa is just an learning curve for future LPD.
And even if there is future war between India and china, it will be mostly in Malacca straits(or open sea) or the mountains. So what do u think? Do u think china is stupid enough to invade India through coasts? Hell u guys even cannot come to mainland.
So forget anything about amphibious warfare. its useless.

Man these Indians are really hilarious.

They are talking big of controlling the Indian Ocean with imported weapons!

There will be only two great naval powers in the Indian Ocean the next few decades and they will be the US and China. US already controls the IOR but the Chinese will start contesting them from the next decade onwards with a fleet of nuclear carriers that will be comparable to the US ships.

Even the Russians and British will be able to use their advanced SSNs to sink the Indian ships with impunity that India has no answer for.

I think you should pray that you keep SCS as your own backyard..situations are changing and it looks like contest will be more interesting in SCS than IOR.and bases in Maldeeves,SL,Pak,Mayanmar,BD??PLAN isn't fool.they know not one country can give protection to their fleets in case of war.a single air raid will drown their assets.China will never risk its own assets in this way.and neither of India's neighbours will risk their relation with India by putting chinese bases in their country(apart from pak,they always want a bigger power in their country and milk its benefits).you must worry about your own region before looking other's problems.

Hmm, I distinctly recall there is something event about Chinese fighting American to protect North Korea, Chinese warning US to not enter North Vietnam or it will be war or Chinese mobilizing their force in 1965 to support Pakistan? China has the unique distinction being the only nation after WWII that actually took direct military actions against other major powers in aid of a third party.
Unlike the Indian government which throw around promises left and right for their election campaign, the Chinese government is a representative of the will of the Chinese nation. As a result, its promise doesn't come easily, but once promised, it will be delivered regardless of the cost.

This is not gonna happen till end of the decade
how are the Chinese going to Protect SL lets examine

1. With nuke subs Useless they make a lot of noise [Chinese one] & are useless unless they wannna start a nuke war

2. Frigates & Destroyers na not gonna happen who is gonna supply them

3. With CBGs no they don't have any & looks like they won't have any till the next decade & wont be able to spare some carriers till 2025 for Indian ocean region till then our navy will have 3-4 CBGs oursleves also we will be a lot stronger Nuclear power till then so they wont risk a nuclear war with us
only navy which can dominate IOR is USN OR IN

So no worry's till 2025
