China ready to protect Sri Lanka: President Xi Jinping

.
All the destroyers,Frigates and Corvettes of IN will be armed with BARAK SAM which can be compared to Aegis defense shield of USA.

SU 30 MKI are bought extra 45(roughly) in numbers only for anti ship role, It seems you lack the info. of IN.

Read my post correctly SU 30's have a range to kill a ship if armed with Brahmos missile.

When its intergrated, then you come back and talk about it.... So much of your future armed procurement. Even the Israel Barak is inferior compare to engagement and range compare to Chinese HQ-9 which is a true fleet air defense weapon.

As for your Su-30 MKI with Brahmos, unless you want to risk it flying into Tibet region to get shot down by PLA SAM to challenge PLAN in SCS.

While we can hit IN warship anywhere with ASBM.

These are in advance stage and will be integrated within a very short time, But you are forgetting about the Island bases which will act as unsinkable carriers, a block at Malacca straits will squeeze Chinese economy.

As per Tibet is concerned, you cannot occupy our lands since logistics are a big problem. You would have sone it in 1962 but realized it as an impossible task and ran from where you came.

BS, Indian military integration is well known to be super efficient? Look at the Kolkata class destroyer in what stage now? another 10 years is soon?

Who dare to squeeze China Economy? Even the mighty US who talk big of CHina being a currency manipulator and wanted to punish China by taxing all good into US by 20% all back off from the idea. OBama even claimed CHina is a responsible country who allow gradual flowing of China RMB.

Why would US squeeze China economy when they are needing of our goods? Nobody else beside USN has the abilities to choke the channel. IN is far from that capabilites.

As for Tibet, its infrastruture is in place. We can shift a whole army into Indian border in a days with train and airlift. More like Indian cowards talk big and dare not fight.

In terms of war we can block Chinese supplies, we already placed sensors along the straits to listen to the Chinese activity

Chinese are pragmatic unlike the Americans. While the Americans wont stop short of anything to protect their allies, for the Chinese its their interest which is supreme. Rest are all expendable in the pursuit of their interest. An admirable quality, if you ask me.

So Lanka is just a tissue paper..once the **** is done and wiped off, China will just discard the tissue paper and move on to get the next tissue.

A long term ally is our long term interest, so don't feel uncomfortable, if you are stronger, then you can do the same to China.

However, you are not, so accept this reality instead of acting like a whiny kid. :coffee:

Where did I act as a whiny kid ? I was only praising China for putting its interest always first and acting pragmatic.

So China will indeed increase her presence on the "Indian" Ocean.

First build its pearl chain from Tanzania-Seychelles-Pakistan-Sri Lanka-Bangladesh-Myanmar.

If India doesn't have any power to stop it, then better try to learn how to adopt it. :coffee:

. . .
really?
over here they seem retarded

well if Chinese are retarded than what about Indians? You had democracy in the 50s-70s, we had the cultural revolution, though I got to admit that did make us look retarded, and here we are so far ahead of you.

Anyways, I don't like to play the race card, so let's just return to topic and use logical arguments instead of personal attacks.

At the moment Chinese navy is superior to Indian navy in terms of equipment and experience. China had nuclear subs for a long time, while India just recently.

China's aircraft carrier will lead to more and more by 2020 and beyond. Despite what some say China will have 3-5, believe me there will be more. It would seem weird that the world's leading economy by then is considerably weaker than US. Chinese spending if on this pace will be about 250 billion officially by 2020.

Another thing Vietnam and Philippines stand no chance to China, however, China is looking for ways for the Americans to not get involved. Once that happens, Vietnam and the Philippines will fall within weeks. When that happens, China will be the de facto leader of South China Sea and all countries East of India.

By this point, America will have no way of challenging China in SCS and thus may even consider pulling back to Australia and move out of Japan and South Korea depending on how NK is doing. This will make China the top dog in East Asia. Then a few skirmishes here and there with India if needed will create a alliance of Asian nations that will have China as its leader. Look to China in the next 20-40 years.

Sounds too far fetched? So did the First reich under Prussian leadership.

LOL why are you acting strange ?

Are Chinese so paranoid that even a note of appreciation from an Indian is not well taken ?

its the other way around buddy  indian navy has much better tech and more exp. (except in nuke subs)
IN has sunk subs, frigates, destroyers, minesweepers, merchant ships and so on using all kinds of ships from missile boats to aircraft carriers. what has PLAN done?

Woah! you are getting way ahead of yourself buddy. dont let the as$ kissing nature of the south asian cheerleaders take your mind away from reality like it has done to many chinese members
