China has expressed willingness to play a constructive role in improving tense relations between Pakistan and India.

Addressing a press briefing in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Geng Shuang said on-going tension along the Line of Control in Kashmir is posing threat to peace and stability of the region.

He urged both Islamabad and New Delhi to start a meaningful dialogue for the settlement of their bilateral disputes and promote peace in the region.

Replying to a question about current border standoff between China and India in Sikkim, he asked the Indian side to withdraw its troops from the Chinese territory and properly settle this dispute at the earliest.

And Pakistan will mediate between China & India.
All the while India will be sticking a thumb in it's bottom at this obvious drama.

Any positive mediation should be welcomed, not ridiculed...

Key word here is 'positive'.
How can China, which is antagonistic to India at every step be a neutral mediator? Especially since it claims to have border issues with India and is propping up Pakistan at every opportunity.

No thanks. Would rather swim with sharks.

Without talks there shall be no peace...its as simple as that...

Swimming with sharks will lead to nowhere...

On the contrary, asking for mediation with people who are supporting your enemies is pretty stupid.
Swimming with sharks will make you a better swimmer ;)

The only way this could work, considering the fact that such a dialogue will be between 3 not so friendly countries is if all 3 stands to gain from it. I don't see any way that can happen since neither India nor Pakistan is gonna compromise.

To act as an mediator, one has to create some sense of credibility. When a country wants to block India's NSG membership inventing an absurd clause of its own (to sign NPT), does not care for International verdict itself (ICJ verdict on SCS), blocks Masud Azhar to be declared as an UN designated terrorist (only country among 15 in UNSC), such credibility goes to ditch. And don't forget this is the same country, whose official mouth piece was envisaging entering Kashmir on behalf of Pakistan just few days back.

Brilliant logic from Indians. They occupied Doklam plateau and all the India news media of "China invaders", "Agression". India is country that do not deserve any respect. They do not even know the word of shame :enjoy:

Well said buddy. However let me remind you that more than 10 years ago Pakistan was willing to make a big compromise...

Please provide an example when India was just as willing...

See, even you feel you are not equipped to be a neutral party to India & Pakistan.
So, please pass on the same message to your commie retard leadership to stop shooting their mouths off.

This is exactly what I mean...Both sides have tried to create problems for one another due to lack of constructive dialogue...Didn't India try to isolate Pakistan?

Bro, offer constructive answers without personal attacks. Such attacks will then be countered and then Arguments and Trolling starts.

We had plenty of constructive dialogue before. Did it help? Bajpayee started CBMs risking his political career in '99 and disaster followed. Musharraf who planned to solve K-issue by Kargil way was the one who almost came close to solve it in the most peaceful way, if we believe your foreign minister's words. This again got thwarted by your domestic turbulence in 2007 and in 2008, Mumbai burned. With such roller coaster like ups and down in bilateral relationship, one can not expect a meaningful dialogue. Can we?
