China rail giant wins first overseas deal after merger -- from India

And they think Bombardier's contract belongs to India because Bombardier's Indian factory assembles the trains exported to Australia. In their logics, iPhone all belongs to China.....Btw, Chinese metro cars in Singapore are OK where it rains a lot.

One chi9nese guy is amusing enough but when a bunch of you start yakking it is hilarious theatre, no less.

Less than 3% of iPhone price goes to China; Largest participants are Germany, Japan then USA.

I do think Chinese make fantastic railway cars btw. DOesn't matter that original designs and technologies are usually stolen from creators by state aided robbers and hackers.

They are on the wrong footing for almost everything. That's probably because they wanted services before suffering manufacturing and became a pseudo democracy before providing basic social/human rights.

India's Wrong Priorities: As Children Go Hungry PM Modi Buys Fighter Jets In France - Forbes

"The implications for India, however, are depressing: one more vivid illustration of misguided policies at the expense of the poor. 960 million Indians live on less than $2 a day. Reading the data is one thing; seeing the consequences, as I did recently driving through the slums on the outskirts of Jaipur, is heart-wrenching. Their plight could not be worse. Rafale jet fighters are about the last thing they need!"

as I said, quite amusing to hear Chinese yak. In this case about human rights. Wow. Hopefully you complete your quota for the week. Oh Chinese quoting Forbes! priceless

Didn't some Indians say they rather have Japanese trains rather than those made in China? Honestly i prefer India paid the grand price by handing the project over to Japan so the Japanese can milk the cow dry.

Japanese are competing with China for HSR. I would not be surprised if India went for Japan even if it is way too expensive. This kind of stuff gives them a sense of prestige.

Yeah well, I was schooled in the US for a while so calm down buddy.

Maybe you can contribute something useful instead of trying to become the next editor of Wren & Martin, and in the process proving yourself to be just another troll. There are lots of people who have aced English language examinations, be it at TOEFL or IELTS, in the forum itself. But there are more of those who have not had the opportunity to be a student in US which, anyways, know nothing about the classical English in majority of cases. (And I mean majority and not all). For these forum members, English is not their primary language. As long as you get what is meant, there is no need to be an A$$!

I've been speaking English for over 4 decades and these people :
1overseas

adverb over·seas \ˌō-vər-ˈsēz\
: in or to a foreign country that is across a sea or ocean

are more qualified than either of us and I agree with them, your remark doesn't?

You just lost a great opportunity to sh.. hush up!
Tay.

And for your information, here is a useful link for you, on how overseas works out as an adjective.

overseas - definition of overseas in English from the Oxford dictionary

You see, your four decades have been spent in a delusion that English is your forte, while in reality, you have failed to grasp how the words can be used. In addition, today the rule is that any word which is being used by majority of English speaking people (this is inclusive of native and non-native) for a particular connotation, is acceptable and included in the dictionaries. Example is prepone. While there is no such word in classical English, the same has been used by South Asians for decades as an antonym for post-pone. Thus, has now being included in the Oxford Dictionary. So maybe you can try to be more accommodative.

OK now we understand that your Leaders are not respected by you and other Chinese, just like your Pakistani friends. I will be forwarding this conversation to Chinese Embassy in India. Best of Luck !!!!

Indians love to pay high prices. They are so gullible. No wonder they are behind in China.

What space tech does India have that China doesn't have?
Which IT tech does India have that China doesn't have?
Technology to send orbiter to Mars!!!
Regarding Software, I think China does not have anything to compete with India...
Might be China is an end user who plays video games. Playing video games does not make you a software engineer...Buying lenovo notebook does not make you a software engineer.

An ignorant Indian lives in delusion.

2014 China's Software industry revenue: $ 600 billion, about 25% of whole China's IT industry (~ $ 2.2 Trillion, more than the GDP of India).
Huawei Software sector only revenue ~ $ 20 billion. Huawei's major sector is hardware.

the IT industry of Shenzhen, one city only in 2014 was more than $200 billion, of which nearly $120 billion from software, Chin'a one city can beat the whole country of India.

2014 India the whole IT industry $ 130 billion.
Infosys whole company revenue ~ $ 8.7 billion

Infosys is too small compared to China's giant company. It is just a contractor of foreign software giants without its own inventions. The only advantage of Indians company is English, which is a gift of their colony master to them.

Indians are just humiliating themselves.

What software does India have that China doesn't?
Please answer the question.

. . . . .
Regardless, the question still stands: why do orientals take European names? Raymond Chang, Richard Lee, James Tsui, etc.
Ask them. They are not called Richard or James in China. If they have Chinese nationality, you can check their ID card to see if they are called Mike or Sue. And you should check your ID if you have one in India, too many English?
