A very interesting, and very revealing formulation, dear Sir. As was the original depiction of events by your comrades, if one is permitted to use that term! As for Mr. Modi's electoral prospects, we must humbly admit that the vagaries of the electoral process are still not entirely predictable. Perhaps we ought to seek help in understanding this from those like you who have more knowledge of these things. Or - who knows? - perhaps we should simply declare his term extended by another six years?
While Indians were celebrating the victory in a triumphant mood, we knew PLA wouldn't stop what they had started.
When the new evidence revealed that China indeed hadn't stopped building infrastructures, many of your countrymen couldn't digest the new "status quo" but insist on the delusion of "victory", by shrinking the size of "area of conflict" from "Doklam" to "Vicinity of stand-off site", then to "Spot of stand-off". In the process, the original aim of IA's very risky action seems to totally lose its significance. Only few thinkers like you actually understand the strategic implication of this whole fiasco.
It is just "Democracy 101" that India's "victory against evil commie China" will be promoted as Modi's major achievement by BJP, and there is no term limit for Modi anyway, good for you!
