PLA beating KMT was a big victory. And its definitely more monumental than beating India in 1962. The 1962 conflict was a foregone conclusion from the onset. Its a more lopsided victory than even against KMT, but it do not count much as the opposition is much weaker.

That was the exact Chinese thought in the past and with the same mentality they tried 67and 87 . The only difference was that it was the super duper PLA that got a bloody nose and ran back .
