Which is all the more better for us ........ we plan to keep you engaged in the south china sea : ..... make you drink as much salty pee water as possible. After some time you may not find it such a delicacy.

The more china messes up the SCS, the more opportunity it creates for India to insert itself there .............. the more welcome India becomes to all your neighbours.

China is hopeing to bolster an interpretation of UNCLOS by expanding the reefs (some of which were previously underwater at high tide) into “into full-fledged islands that can fulfill the requirement Article 121 of UNCLOS of being able to “sustain human habitation or economic life of their own.”

However, Article 121 also specifies that an island is “a naturally formed area of land” (emphasis added), which would preclude China’s artificial islands from qualifying.

So far China is embarrassingly enough, unable to prevent Japan, South Korea, and the United States from all violating the ADIZ in the East China Sea, and that was with the full capabilities of its air force based on the mainland. These tiny islands will not change anything significantly.

you forgot that we brought with us the desalination water filter with us. and we are about to fix the SCS issue once we complete the reef reclamation, we have a good coverage of our strike range, and what make you think that we can't convert our 7 reefs into Islands that can substan human habitation? if Japan is able to artifically make it own reef into tiny island and accepted by UN why we can't do the same???? not to mention that our artifically island is 10 or 100 times bigger than the one Japan made.

And nothing prevent us to fly over Japan & south Korea ADIZ , so are they feel embarrassed as well??

Only a child builds a Sand Castle ....... because it do not now that the sea will reclaim the sand castle. Sand castle are for kids, they are not meant to last. But good luck in spending Billions in building your sand castle. .............. its only good for drawing red circles in a map.

That's very true from Indian's made desalination filter that why you guys keep depending on Brahmaputra, as for the red and yellow circle, it means that once these artificial islands become China's unsinkable aircraft carrier which 10 time bigger than US super carrier, our aircraft strike range will virtually cover the entire SCS without the need to fly back to mainland China for refulling. What happened to China these days!!

First it asked India not to manipulate it's GDP (and China does manipulate it's GDP and it's currency) and now it asks India's leadership not to visit their own state -_- ( China builds islands in disputed South China Sea).

Guess, China is trying to show that it's a Asian power house.

Those artificial islands are an sand lump in the Middle on nowhere !!! surrounded by hostile neighbours and on disputed water. Aircraft carriers can at least move towards the Fuel, fuel has to be brought INTO the island. Not to mention they are extremely vulnerable to the fuel dump being blown up.

Those islands will have zero tactical value. They are built only for strategic reason, to strengthen your legal claim in UN.

Now frankly am tired of this childish to and fro.

In contrary, these artificial islands will serve as intelligence gathering stations, extend our ship patrol on SCS, it serves also as earlier warning, air coverage to our patrol ships and jump points to strike into enermies heart land if necessary. it's our equivalent to Indian's Adaman & Nicobar Island's military out post role.
