you lack the basic military knowledge is pretty typical for indians.
in terms of navy, we fought with them in 1974 and end of 1980s, check what happened to their sailors.
in terms of army, even their own member admitted the battle of 毛松岭 ( 12/July/1984) where ~3000 vietnamese troops were killed in the same morning with zero Chinese casualty.
when compared to the China-india war 1962, your eastern wing were completed destroyed within 2 hours, but we still suffered some minor casualties, the above battle I am talking about has zero Chinese casualty when 3000 vietnamese troops were KIA.
