China successfully launches Tianhui-6 twin satellites​

TAIYUAN, March 10 (Xinhua) -- China successfully launched the Tianhui-6 twin satellites at 6:41 a.m. on Friday from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern China's Shanxi Province.

The twin satellites, Tianhui-6 A and Tianhui-6 B, on board a Long March-4C carrier rocket, have entered the planned orbit.

The satellites will be used for geographic mapping, land resource survey, scientific experiments and other missions.

It was the 465th mission for the Long March series of carrier rockets.

JIUQUAN, March 13 (Xinhua) -- China successfully sent a new remote sensing satellite into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, located in the country's northwest region, on Monday.

The remote sensing satellite was launched at 12:02 p.m. (Beijing Time) by a Long March-2C carrier rocket and entered its planned orbit successfully.

The launch was the 466th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.

JIUQUAN, March 15 (Xinhua) -- China on Wednesday evening successfully sent a new experiment satellite into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.

The Shiyan-19 satellite was launched at 7:41 p.m. (Beijing Time) by a Long March-11 carrier rocket and entered its planned orbit successfully.

This experiment satellite will primarily be used for land resource surveys, urban planning, disaster prevention and mitigation, and other missions.

It was the 467th flight mission of the Long March series rockets.

XICHANG, March 17 (Xinhua) -- China on Friday sent a new Earth observation satellite into space from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The satellite, Gaofen-13 02, was launched at 16:33 p.m. (Beijing Time) by a Long March-3B carrier rocket, and entered its planned orbit successfully.

The satellite will be mainly used in land surveys, crop yield estimation, environmental governance, meteorological early warning and forecasting, as well as comprehensive disaster prevention and mitigation.

It was the 468th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.

The satellites, belonging to the Tianmu-1 meteorological constellation, were launched by a Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket at 5:09 p.m. (Beijing Time) and have entered the planned orbit.

They will be mainly used to provide commercial meteorological data services.

It was the 19th flight mission of the Kuaizhou-1A rockets.

The rocket is known as TL-2 Y1 and blasted off at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China at 4:48 p.m. (Beijing Time).

The flight will verify the overall program of the rocket and the coordination between the systems and obtain the parameters of the flight environment.

The satellite will be used in remote sensing imaging experiments and other technical verifications.
