According to India's own internal army report (Henderson-Brooks Report), it was India who started the 1962 war. And the point that triggered the conflict was the Dhola post of the Indian Army which was built NORTH of the MacMahon Line, in undisputed Chinese territory:

Which means, according to the Indian Army's own internal report, it was India who was the aggressor in 1962.

Hopefully, such things remain at Indian media level 'wars & victories' and the two states find a peaceful solution to South Tibet and other boundary issues.

The Chinese just want to build and achieve their 2030 and 2050 goals.. and for this they would avoid any wars... taking this as Chinese weakness would be costly.

But India needs to be taken seriously as well. This bilateral relationship needs some urgent attention!
