Look at India, they can't make tough economic decision for their benefit because of democratic politics, vote buying.

The American economy is failing because its political system is failing. Necessary tough decisions are hard to make in a democracy because one party goes for easy solutions that will do long term economic damage but they win the votes because its the easy way out. The other party has no choice but to promise the population even more or else they lose the election.
All the while the economy goes down the drain.
Same thing with Japan.

Democracy gives rise to welfare societies where the party that offers free stuff for people win the election.

True, China itself has it's own issues. And a developing economy has greater income disparity. Eventually, China must resove the problem of corruption, nepotism, regional income disparity, respect for intellectual property and the gap between elite and poor. Otherwise, it will be difficult for China to be more than a middle income nation.

Income disparity has nothing to do with having no democracy. US income disparity is much higher than china.

Income disparity is due to financial policies.
Financial reform is needed for that.
