You people stop eating snakes, insects and other filthy organisms and then talk about others.
I guess that's somehow a misrepresentation. Without subscribing to what people in Greater China eat, I would like to point out that eating various types of meat is widespread across the world although the content might change from culture to culture. Your post, designed to insult the Chinese people, is insulting to everybody.
You need to be more selective.
We haven't reached to your level yet and we are polluting so much ?
Yes, you are polluting more than us although the industrial development of India is dwarfed by China. Most of your air pollution comes from not industrial use, but civilian use.
From BP 2012 report:
"In 2000, China was the world’s third largest energy user, taking up 10.8% of global energy consumption, superseded by the EU (18.4%) and the US (24.7%). In 2011, China rose to the top spot with a 21.3% share of the world’s total energy consumption. During the same period, EU’s consumption fell to 13.8% and the US, to 18.5%. Compared to China, another large population growing economy, India, has increased its global share only over one percentage point, from 3.2% to 4.6%."
You are boasting of a huge industrial output which you built on coal and crude polluting the atmosphere.
That's true. We are working to reduce dependency on coal. In fact, in a short span of time (2011-2105) dependency on coal for energy reduced from near 70% to low 50%~ while the share of natural gas, nuclear and renewables grew consistently.
Doing our best to reduce carbon footprint:
And yes, we are the largest investor and inventor in the field. If you are looking for indigenous technology, come to us.
