Trump is shutting down western aid for Palestinians both directly from USA and indirectly by withdrawing from numerous UN programs, for which USA has always been main donor. They stop real aid getting through for development while allowing a trickle of cosmetic improvements and mostly lip service - even that is stopping now. USA has no sincerity in its assistance for Palestinian people and in fact aims to fulfil biblical prophecies of the evangelists by covertly and overtly supporting Israel. Any suggestions that USA assists Palestinian people is laughable.

We are far more brainwashed and subservient here in the west; it's just that we are deluded into thinking we have free speech, free expression, freedom to raise our children as we see fit, freedom of opinion etc when in reality we are funneled into a specific way of thinking that suits a certain political viewpoint. Any alternative viewpoint results in loss of career, public shaming/vilification and often even trumped up criminal charges. Julian Assange is the most recent case in point. The charges don't even need to be trumped up any more as the definition of criminal antisemitism includes questioning zionist expansion at the expense of Palestinian rights to the very homes they once lived in and the very lands they once worked. Demanding a right of return for Palestinian refugees will cause a person to be on a terror watch list in western countries.

Last decade Xinjiang indeed suffered some terrible attacks and heavy casualties, thank to the govenrment policy, now Xinjiang is the safest place with booming tourism, Xinjiang now enjoys double digit GDP growth, the highest in China.

Xinjiang's highways, high speed railways, bridges, airports and subways are the best in the world, second to none on this planet, Urumqi city can put almost all cities in the west in shame in terms of infrastructure.
