China firm offers $50b for hydro projects

The amount of water reaching directly from India into the region where they want to build these dams, is very little. While Indus/Jhelum system originates in India, it gets filled up more in Pakistan's Gilgit Baltistan region. So yes, India can reduce the flow, but only to a certain bit.
Most of the water in Indus/Jhelum comes from the glaciers/snow (look up how many of the world's largest glaciers are in Pakistan) in the Himayalas/Karakorams within Pakistan's territory.....so yea, just like the roads and rail of CPEC, Indians can only cry tears.

Good now no more crying about us stealing yourbwater

Cant believe you are showing Kashmir in Indian territory.
I had to find a map of Pakistani rivers and canals and in that India is not covered....So had to use the Indian one hence it would show accordingly.

What my point was that has been understood by the Indian members...

If you can convey your observation to the Geological Survey of Pakistan to make an entire Map that shows both India and Pakistan Rivers and Canals.

This is a food of thought for you...

:o:

Not sure about the falling part but they flow through our land (Punjab).
They were part of Pakistani rivers that ended in the Indus before the Indus Water Treaty. After this treaty till today they are part of India. India has built a new Canal called the Indra Gandhi Canal which starts from Harike Barrage and ends south of Ramgarh.

Hope your question has been answered.
