中共國務院發展研究中心發展戰略和區域經濟研究部部長李善同宣稱，根據城市化水平與人均國內生產總值(ＧＤＰ)的分析，二十年後大陸人均ＧＤＰ將增至兩千八百多美元，城市化水平將提高到百分之六十。
新华社报导，李善同今天出席北京「中国城镇化」论坛指出，世界银行公布的「世界发
展指标」显示城市化水平与人均ＧＤＰ的正相关性，去年大陆人均ＧＤＰ约为八百五十
美元，根据大陆ＧＤＰ年均百分之七点二左右的增长和同期人口年均千分之八的增长，
到二０二０年大陆人均ＧＤＰ将增至两千八百多美元，大陆城市化水平将可达百分之六
十左右。
