China condemns Japan's "shameless" weapon sales: Foreign Ministry

BEIJING, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- China has condemned Japan's weapon sales to India as a "shameless move."

According to media report, the Japanese Government is promoting the sale of weapons worth 1.6 billion U.S. dollars to India. Japan will lower the prices as much as possible in exchange for strengthened cooperation in defense and security and to encourage India to become more involved on the South China Sea issue.

Hua Chunying, spokesperson of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said on Tuesday that China has no objection to normal defense cooperation, but it would be a "shameless move" if somebody uses this for ulterior motives.

Yep basically. They have covered their tracks somewhat though by saying only "ulterior" motives would be "shameless" rather than this deal outright. Still it's pretty thinly veiled since its part of the same statement release.

What's the ulterior motive exactly ? Surely cant be anything similar to providing nuclear weapons and the bulk of defence equipment to Pakistan to be used against India, a country with which we have had 4 wars in the post World War 2 era. One as recently as 1999.

But it's still the world's third largest economy, and a highly developed /ultra advanced country among the most productive country on earth(even more than many western powers) despite having ZERO natural resources. Muslim/third world developing Countries countries for example will need at least a century to get where Japan is CURRENTLY, that's considering Japan won't move an inch. Lol

As for Japan favouring/putting their local population first before immigrants. Well , I don't think that's a bad thing, you people might call it racists but East Asian societies are not fond of immigrants especially ones that are alien to their culture. So you don't expect them to welcome you people/grant you citizenship and stay there the way we do here in the West( eventhough you people still criticise us day and night than them.lol).
So I don't see why you are calling them racists simply because they got a different way of seeing things distinct from the liberal West. Or maybe because Japan is allied to the 'evil' U.S? Lol. Since I don't see you calling the Chinese racists for their similar policies. . Granted they are one of Pakistan's biggest ally(along with the U S).
