I don't agree with the censorship part but i think the reason for not to commemorate the accident and the victims on television is lose of face and feeling ashamed that such a tragic event took place. Western media would use argument as "Does China think its people are dumb?" which is just an excuse from them to criticize the censorship. Take a look at תÑÛ¡¶7.23¸ßÌúʹʡ·¿ìÒ»ÖÜÄê_ÁÙ䬰É_°Ù¶ÈÌù°É Now as you can see people have the freedom to blog about what had happened last year.

I'm just wondering if US would broadcast incidents like US war crimes in Iraq commemorating the victims. We all know they killed the British Reuters news reporter from the Apache. Among the dead were other innocent people in and around the van. I'm wondering if US televisions would broadcast such news a year after that shooting, if not would you people slam US for censorship? I doubt that because everybody seems to claim it's the land of democracy so there's no censorship.

Comparing some unknown war crimes with a Train accident. Awesome logic!!

if india commemorates its horrible string of accidents it will probably needs 1/2 year each day for the event of commemorating alone. they never care a sh1t about these. they act like concerned about accidents in China but in fact it is a bashing and cheerleading opportunity for the bunch of idle tasteless lives.

for the US worshipper, he is too naive to say the us is reporting everything. He never hears about dirty bombs, Assange, wikileaks, guantenamo torture ...what a poor kid!

With those frequent scary train accidents in India i do wonder if Indian televisions commemorate the victims at all. News channels would almost have to report about the anniversaries of those accidents on a daily basis, i don't think Indians would even care about it anymore watching and listening to accident x happened last year, then after few days accident y happened last year repeating it all over and over. Western people don't even care about the anniversary of that train accident but their media loves to use every way to criticize China.

People really believe that India or USA would cover anniversaries of every tragic events from all around the world. Very naive and same with USA, i bet they are too ashamed of murdering the Reuters reporter and innocent people they don't dare to remind their own people of such anniversaries. A muslim colleague once told me that the news channel aljazeera broadcasted proofs of certain events happening in the Middle East involving Americans, but you don't see American channels covering those stories.

@jbond197 , you seem to be clueless about the so called unknown war crime why not take a look for yourself.
Saeed Chmagh - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"For more than three years after the shooting, Reuters and other organizations sought probes into the deaths of Noor-Eldeen and other journalists killed in Iraq, but the U.S. military withheld key information on the grounds that it was classified. The military also refused to release a video taken from one of the gunships that captured the complete sequence and radio communication during the shootings. On April 5, 2010, the video was released on the website Wikileaks, which said it acquired the video from military whistle-blowers and viewed it after breaking the encryption code."

TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THIS Photos Show Rape of Iraqi Women by US Occupation Forces
