No one would call B-52 a "High tech bomber". Its a bomb truck, and either case its an American made plane flown by Americans. Not like the Chinese bragging about Soviet Tupolev-16. Even the Engine is Russian.

Yeah they tested all their missiles and 3.3 megaton bombs on the reefs near their coast so their marine ecology died out, so now they have to go to vietnam/korea/japan/phil waters to fish.

The Tu-160 will not be useful for PLAAF, since it cannot penetrate into the modern air defence system of US because of being non-stealthy.

While it will cost far more to maintain than the smaller H-6K, so basically it will be a useless white elephant for our PLAAF.

PLAAF's next gen bomber gonna be something to B3, while those modernized H-6 is enough for PLAAF to launch a reliable strike against the hostile neighbors and the US military bases in China's backyard.

But this explanation will be too much for those Indians to understand.

Those bombers are used to carry the 2500+km CJ-10 to strike against the US military bases in the Asia-Pacific, since China has 9.6 million km^2 of strategic depth, the H-6K can safely launch the attack from China's own air space.

As for Vietnam, the first step of our modern information warfare is to cripple their electronics first, then use a preemptive missile strike to weed out everything.

After all, we could proceed to bomb them with our bombers or fighter-bombers.

The original license built version was long put out of service ! What is available is a reverse engineered copy of it ... Of which more than 8 variants have been built from 1958 - each one incorporating latest modern technologies/innovations ... The most latest of it being the H-6K ...
