Sea border dispute should be easier to negotiate without using force.
What every country needs is actually sea resource & sea travel & shipping lane security & free passage for non-nuclear armed warship. These requirements should be negotiable without resort to war.
War is bad. It killed your men, destroy friendly relationship between countries, drain your economy dry, tax your population poor. Make your male populaton not handsome & poor. When you are rich, you become handsome. War make you people poor. Your older son killed in the battle, your daughter choose foreign men to marry, your little son can't find a wife.
