China aims for naval supremacy by 2050

Type 003 probably in same league with latest USS Ford class. The dimension is almost similar, hence the tonnage could be almost the same also.

If type 003 turn out to be nuclear powered, China doesnt need another slightly larger nuclear AC type 004 anytime in this or coming decade.

And this could be the reason why China cancel/postpone the development of Type 004.

Yes I do. I am not saying making shipyard is easy, I am saying shipyard is not a complex system like chip fab, understand the difference.

You know, many developing country can make shipyard. My country Indonesia can, and have many shipyard made by ourself. In the meantime, only some advance country can make chip fab, because it involve complex system and stages, and precision equipment with most frontier tech.

Shipyard is only a civil engineering stuff, a place for making ship, yes it is very large but not quite complex.
The challenge to build carrier is not with the shipyard, but with the complexity of the carrier itself that make the design and construct the ship is challenging.
to build and design shipyard and install infrastructures and install cranes and machine tools that is easy for you lol

and tell me how many years you take to build the one shipyard??? tell me??? i am talking about big shipyards lol

.
And being detected first nigger doesn't guarantee that you have a better range, IC and processor fabrication technologies has enough miniaturization capacity to make radar/AESA with almost of better than J-15 AESA

Range to RCS ratio is better for bigger planes. In WW2 F6F Hellcat killed A6M Zero because bigger plane. Bigger plane means bigger engine. Heavier but better power to weight ratio so faster. Faster means kill enemy.

When did I say it is easy? lol

Well, it depend on the experience and resources; just like build a super highrise building, it could take 5 years to complete, but it could take less than 1 year if you have enough resource and method.

Big shipyard like Jiangnan? it take long time for some less experience country, but fast for China who want to replicate what she already has :)

And its a obsolete concept/idea at least for West bigger means better when technology is available to you that in you are able built smaller electronics/AESA which has the same range as bigger electronics/AESA than who need bigger jets, and bigger means less agile when compare to medium and light jets, they depleted their energy early than medium and light jets and speed is not top priority for defense strategists rather acceleration and maneuverability and sustainment are

Naval air bases on Spratly islands have navy J-11BH fighters and KJ-500H AWACs. Chinese naval aviation on these air bases dominate South China Sea.

I would say: 6 to 9 months for civil work and equipment manufacturing process, 1 month for the delivery of the equipments, and 1 month for the erection and installation of equipment, and 1 week for commissioning.

So with adequate resource and experience China can finish large shipyard like Jiangnan within 1 year, assuming the land is ready.

brother for building a big shipyard 1 year could be spent on feasibility reports and to surveying leveling the spots a than govt chose the site than construction begun in 1.5-2 years, there no ways china can finish big shipyard like you say Jiangnan in 2-3 years

I asked you some question to you did you answer its you said that in your country recently constructed shipyard, can i ask how much time you took to complete your project???

Claim supremacy is an Indian trait. US would never claim supremacy. US only want “world peace” China also would not do it as you don’t see many Chinese bragging except maybe a couple of kids. China in nature are like America. Indians, on the other hand, is known to brag incessantly. If this thread is about India, we would see tens of Indians in here bragging over 100 pages of posts.

Feasibility for what? if it is not for business purpose why need complex feasibility study? Once government wants and instruct to add shipyard for military purpose, then it automatically become feasible to have the shipyard; what you need is only to find the right location.

I did not say recently, but my country has some shipyards made by ourself. About how much time, I have answered you above, it depends on experience and bureaucracy, it could be very fast if we have experience and no bureaucracy and could be very long if otherwise.

In which part it is childish?

I am saying based on my experience. You know even making the more complex power plant is not more than 2 years? Manufacturing process, civil work, erection/installation, commissioning, just like I mention to you above? Of course you can't grasp it if you dont have enough experience and knowledge.

Clue: power plant is more complex than shipyard ;)

Every project has a initial feasibility report whether project is military or civil it doesn't matter feasibility is must than its come from surveying the land, whether this place is safe for building shipyard what soil quality that land have etc etc is that land relatively safe for natural disaster such as Earthquakes/ typhoons or landslides etc etc when govt final it decision than construction will start

And your childish thinking that install cranes in one month, install this in 2 months is so funny that i am laughing so hard, this not video game or something, for any govt trying to build Naval base or Naval shipyards the rule and regulations are more Stricker than civilian ship constructions or designing a naval shipyard which means more and multiple rigged testing at the factories which creating the infra for naval shipyards

China has little interest outside its peripheral seas. Yellow Sea, East China Sea, South China Sea.
lol if China have little interest beyond its peripheral seas than why its China is building Aircraft carriers then??? for defense of its peripheral seas frigates and destroyers are enough for PLAN, China have interest beyond its peripheral seas to secure its trade and energy routes in pacific/Indian oceans
