China : A True Friend Indeed

. . . .
Absolutely right buddy.

The Indians here will never understand this. There is no point in trying to explain it to them.

Yup we shall never understand....because in the books of many many many people there is nothing called friendship/brotherhood in international politics :hitwall:

No, here is the actual quote.

"Nations have no permanent friends and no permanent enemies. Only permanent interests."

Notice the word "permanent". They never said there was no such thing as friendship/brotherhood between nations.

And our friendship with Pakistan is a permanent interest for us.

They are a geographic neighbor (which isn't going to change), and they give us an invaluable method to bypass the Malacca straits, through Gwadar port. Also, they allow us a land-link for Middle-Eastern pipelines.

Not to mention that they are a doorway to the resource-rich Islamic world, which a resource-hungry giant like China desperately needs.

Therefore, friendship with Pakistan is a permanent interest for us.

Enjoy the friendship then!!!!

Yeah, Iran is also a great country with impressive scientific achievement despite facing the technological embargo from the West.

Hopefully, China and Iran can also become the true friend in the future.

Iran is a fascinating country and it's people well educated and extremely hospitable known for their warmth and rich culture they have plenty to offer the world, a country that doesn't shy away from world affairs and takes bold stance against the persecution of minorities whether they be Christian/Muslim or people of different faiths. A world hungry for energy can't ignore Iran for too long and i'm sure China leaders being astute will already know it's in China best interest to form a strong and lasting ties with Iran.

There may be no such thing as brotherhood in politics or business but among common people Chinese are our brothers in humanity along with every other nationality bar Indians.

True, even most Iranians are devoted muslims, it doesn't mean they don't have their unique culture.

I think the Iranian Zoroastrians and the Iranian Christians would indeed stand with their government if the West dares to invade their soil.

This is where they take the cake. The Western media has tried to present Iran as anti-Jewish, but the Jewish population in Iran refuses to buy that propaganda. The entire country has shown tremendous unity.

But as for Pak-Cheen partnership, there's no other equivalent to compare it to. Both our people are honest, hard-working individuals who are committed to this friendship and we shall not forget those who have stood beside us in times of trial nor those elsewhere who have betrayed us over and over.

The West has applied the same tactics on the Muslim population in China. They use to portray how the Muslims were persecuted by the Han Chinese, while using the terrorists of the 2009 riots as the representive.

In fact, these terrorists of East Turkistan were funded by the West, and they don't only target the Han Chinese, but also other Muslim population like Hui.

Also, the true Muslim haters are the Western nations themselves, not China.

China did not help Pakistan in the 1965 war, and did nothing in the 1971 war

There has sadly become a negative connotation with devout muslim due to the Wahhabi/Saudi influence in the world as people seem to feel muslim are bearded nutjobs who don't care about the world around themselves bar their own petty agenda. Should you ever decide to go to Iran even the rural areas you would see how they along with many muslim countries are an exception to that rule much propaganda has been propagated about them which is an absolute crime, in places like Tehran and Shiraz most of the younger generation are extremely western when it comes to their clothing and attitudes in life wheras in places like Mashad or Qom people are more religious but regardless of that i was amazed to see how kind and hospitable they really are and i would recommend you to visit Iran, truly wonderful and enlightening experience.

Iranians in my opinion are the most pro-active muslims and one Pakistanis should learn from, Iranians regardless of their religious affiliations care deeply about their national affairs even Iranian Jews who were offered huge sums of money by the Isreali government to move to Isreal declinded due to their deep affection and loyalties to their land.

USA won't attack Iran, during the 1979 revolution, the hostage crises that followed and during the Iran-Iraq war the country was at its weakest point and they missed their opportunity. Iran now is a different kettle of fish, highly educated population, self-reliant and wealthy it's perfectly situated to be able to cause havoc to USA interests in the region and America is rightly hesistant to prevent any altercations from occuring with Iran.

Pakistan shouldn't look to China or anyone else for help to fight our own wars, our nation should be self-reliant and it has plenty of souls that would be willing to sacrifice their lives for their motherland.

Very true, Iran is strong enough to withstand the attack from Nato, and the harmony within different ethnicities and religious groups stands strong.

I think even their younger generation may be culturally influenced by the Western soft power, but it doesn't they would switch their loyalty and allegiance to the West.
