Edit: Well it looks like the sportscaster is a white guy, The only anchors I saw covering the parade yesterday were english speaking Chinese - and they could be Asian-American. I don't normally watch CCTV.

They own it but their control over CCTV English is not as big. That's the problem. The clowns at CCTV English knows they are not as supervised as strictly so they hire a bunch of liberal American apologists and defend American actions.

Believe it or not, CCTV English is highly critical of China and Russia but a great defender of American actions. They are run by liberals.

The guests they have are rapid anti-Russian and brainwashed pro-American. Even regarding China, they cover what the US thinks and not what China thinks. That's on a Chinese state channel. It's state-owned but not as strictly state controlled as people believe. CCTV English reasoning is that it's aimed at a Western audience. That's nonsense. What about the people in the world that are looking for a different POV. RT does this the best. Presstv is very good too.

CCTV English is a classic case of what happens when liberals are allowed to run China.

I want CCTV English to be more like Global Times which is a conservative newspaper in English.
