Unless you are telling me you sit in front of your computers in DAYS nein, probably YEARS to look up said video, it will not randomly pop into your feed, there are virtually NO CHANCE you can know such video even existed unless it goes viral, and it wasn't (it only have 9k view as well)

So either you spend an unbelievable amount of time (like a year or so), or you are that lucky and this somehow pop in your youtube feed or this is a paid content and someone feed you that video. Take your pick

If not, then either his video pop up in your feed somehow, which I simply don't see how as Youtube suppress low view count video. If I type "expat in china", the first 6 pages of those video are very high view count like 50k+ view, and then you come into random selection of video.

It's quite impossible for someone to locate video like that and do it again and again (you had another one with that girl and around 3k sub) Unless you know these people, which I assume you did not, YouTube Search Algorithm is not build that way so you can look up what you want with low sub count and view count like this.

So as I said, either someone feed you those account and tell you to subscribe, which make it paid content, or you sit in front of your computer probably days after days doing nothing but looking at random Youtube video and get these video out.

youtube video is like a needle in a GIANT haystack, where high view count, high sub count and high like or what they called "interaction" score on the outside, the smaller channel are all inside somewhere, again, either he is THAT lucky, like hitting a lotto lucky and look up on some random video align to what he think with that low sub count, or someone is telling him that guy existed and he should sub to him.

Also, it's not hard nor expensive to "sponsor" youtube video, I did a couple for a few hundred bucks.

Oh, he could well be an English Teacher in China, i don't doubt that, you can be if you look foreign, I once have an "English Teacher" when I was studying in China who is from South Africa and I speak better English than he did. The reason why he got the job is well, he's white.

What I doubt is was this an act, a farce, if Mr Beijing was not affiliated (ie know) this guy, which mean he look him up on youtube and get his video, and depends on what type of keyword you use, account like that (with less than 10k sub) would have been buried under the YouTube Search algorithm (which prefer higher sub count, view count and like count etc), either he stick in front of the computer and look thru EVERY video anyone ever posted and get to him, or someone told him such video existed. If that guy have around 200k Sub, maybe he can look it up in an hour, but with 9k sub? It's lucky you can find his video at all.

The problem is that you post too many topics like this.

You randomly select youtube videos about China, then create a topic on the PDF and you spam it for months and years. That would make other members suspicious.

haha, it's ALWAYS the channel. Because topic alone is not a good suggestion for video. Youtube Search Algorithm actively hide those video channels if they don't have high view count and etc like I said before. The search engine optimalisation would not show video that low sub count or interaction score in anyone search, you would have to either flip thru ALL the videos about similar topics or someone has to tell him such account exist.

Keyword search is pointless in Youtube since there are tons of video from the same keyword already, it even said on the upload tab when you make content that Tag have minimal role on helping viewer to find your video

So, either he will need to know that specific channel, or he really do trolling thru probably million of video to find the one he like, and you are talking about millions of minutes to do so, I don't think he would have time to be be here posting if this is his job.

I don't know, as a fellow low level content creator, I just know it's impossible for someone to locate said video if he is doing this on purpose.

It's very simple, you can type "expat love living in China" on youtube, you will probably be able to find a video that saying "Living in China is good" in the first page, but that guy will not be a 9k sub account, it would either be an account with high view count or high sub count. So it mean either Mr Beijing here ignore those video that come first, which have the same point he wanted, or he was specifically asked to quote said person.

This is my result the first one has 302k view (about araf adventure, I watched some of his video before when i am doing the mock search for this so it pop up high on my feed)
