Chapel Hill shooting: Three young Muslims gunned down in family home, Atheist Terrorist Responsible

.
After having lived in the US for 15 years I can finally understand why Muslims hate the West so much: more than just religion, their human dignity is constantly being humiliated, with Western media whipping the populace into a near-genocidal frenzy. To a lesser extent, this also applies to other non-Westerners in the US.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajeeoon...

For those living in denial regarding how hate BS has an effect on people well a sad example is shown here but of course no one will pick up his religion and simply hand him the psychology card to the mental ward....

Looks like this might be a fight over a parking spot. You might have to take it up with Road Ragers Anonymous now. But I'll have a word with Dawkins about joining PDF..

Dude, no one kills three people (executing them, shot in head), for parking issues. Let's be real. There were two women there too. If this was a parking issue and really it got to a gun point discussion, anyone, no matter what culture or religion that person was from, would've let go of those two women.

Sad part is, I didn't even see anything on our media, I saw it on here. Then I googled it and I found a few local Chapel Hills news papers reporting it. And my question is, why doesn't our media cover these hate crimes against Muslims? A friend of mine made me see a news brief a few weeks ago, where a 15 year old American child, who was a muslim was squashed between a Truck and a Wall, breaking his body into two pieces. This was in Kansas City, just a few weeks ago.

I think Muslims have a right to be scared in the West as this is turning into a mad house. I hope more events don't happen and people go back to being sane. This isn't our American society and we don't kill children and women.

Let's not kid ourselves here, people have been killed for a lot less. Google road rage killings and see how many come up. Hell, last night a women was shot in Las Vegas in a road rage incident. A blonde, in case you're wondering.

The Chapel Hill shooting have covered by every major outlet. Refer to post #38 for a list of links to major news networks that carried the story. The guy who run over the Somali kid in KC was a guy by the name of Ahmed H. Aden, another Somali immigrant. It wasn't some random redneck acting out his Islamophobic or xenophobic fantasies

Since you're probably Pakistani, I wanna know if you actually fear for your life living in the US. Do you see a difference in the way people treat you today as opposed to a couple of years back? Or are you just playing victim here?

Give me sources to Chapel Hill, and I'd like to see SAME DAY media outlet links like the CNN, NBC, etc, running it like they run other breaking stories (Scott Peterson, or OJ or anything that was repeated every hour for days).

Also, do you honestly believe that no one hates Muslims in our country? From the South /North Carolina to the Cost of California, there is open hate towards them, may not be prominent in bigger cities or strong enough that someone would actually fire at some individual, but there is. Is it in our nature to do so? NO.
America is the most open society you can find. But, has the media fueled it and keeps fueling the divide? Yes. Its not a "national" issue, its not a "cultural" issue....its a media related issue and media runs on creating sensation. Why would you want to see TV news for four hours if a Blond lost her license or some forcefully made out with her at a bar? But if the same blonde met a guy who somehow felt like a terrorist, whether true or false.....or there was a serial killer involved....you'd be watching it to make sure you understand the situation and can protect your own family. That's how humans work and media creates that fear and sensation.

You can google mosque attacks and see what you come up with, I just did that and I came up with a few. Like majority of the American population, I used to say the same thing till like 5 years ago, that "the moderate muslims need to come out more and show that they are against terrorism". Well, what I didn't know was, the media doesn't provide proper coverage to events where the moderate muslims DO come out. Till I got invited to a few eventsorganized by a couple of second level friends who were involved in local muslim community events. I witnessed with my eyes that many hundreds of people came out with vigils and all. And there were tv cameras. At the end of the day, the LOCAL news channel wrapped up the entire story in two lines, and that was it. Not even one clip was shown, let alone coverage on national tv!!! The only coverage you see, is usually the bad coverage. Can I blame the media? No, we went through 9/11, the image of Islam was damaged inside out country and will be so as we lost thousands of our civilians without a freaking reason. But, do I expect media to do some justice and present both sides fairly....yes. THAT is the point.

Which TV station has pounded on this story every hour for a week? Let's change roles, if this was a Muslim guy who killed three White people......I can assure you that the Media will be playing this story for a month without pressing brakes. And while they'd be covering a local story about murders, they'd be showing Saudia, OBL, Bomb Attacks in the background clips. So what do the audience get??? They see those background images and their sub conscious registers this domestic nut case murder as another "Terror Attack" or someone who may be violent because of being a Muslim. Is there a terrorism problem in the Muslim world? HECK YES, but does that mean our own liberal media needs to bastardize the entire muslim community that has lived here since the 1900's and outside of a few imported terrorists, has never really caused a threat to the local population? NO.

Btw, I am black. And after SO much that has happened to us in decades, yes, there are times even people like us do feel like some dude might spit some hate on us, sorry but its some serious harsh truth. Do the blacks have a lot of issues? Yes, I agree. We need to focus more on education, hard work and prosperity, but we are also humans too.

By silly defending the issue here, you aren't doing anyone a favor. What you are saying is, that there is NO race or religious bias in the US.......may I start from Catholics, Jews, Blacks, Japanese, Russians and now, Muslims? Forgot KKK.....or should I go more into details?

While I am saying this, let me also address the most critical point. We live in probably the best place that exists on the planet. But for us to ignore our race and religious bias related issues, we are not being responsible there. Like every nation, we have some issues too. However, if you take our country as a whole, we are still about 90% better than any country on the planet with respect to providing freedom, success, justice and prosperity to our citizens. There is no doubt about it.

They are not even given coverage in national media when they are victim. This shows that Muslim in US are considered third class citizens. tch tch

This is a baseless accusation. If you read research conducted (this party), you'll find out that average Muslim family makes six figures income, which is double the number of how much an average American family makes. I've seen these statistics myself.

The media always runs with its own agenda based on what its viewers want to hear and see. Whether the media provides any serious coverage or not, it doesn't impact the quality of life, success and protection muslims enjoy in the US.

Can you argue with what the people want to hear or see on TV? Don't they show hate towards the US on pretty much all Pakistani media outlets? Don't they show anti-Pakistani content on Indian media outlets all the time? And you'll just point out this media's sensational issue related to Muslims?

And mind you, everywhere you look, there is terrorism associated to Muslims, or majority of it. There are extremist fractions in India and other places too, but as a whole, the world sees terrorism everywhere and either these are muslim countries or muslims involved in doing it. Plus, we got attacked multiple times. Can you remove 9/11 from our past and hope that we'll just forget about one of the biggest national tragedies in our history with total loss of 3000 - 4000 civilian lives in one shot, in the most vibrant and live city on the planet? You'd be fooling yourself if you think we'll forget about it. So many people in the US do associate muslims as a problem. I've written a lot about it.

The world needs to come up with a global strategy to destroy and defeat the jihadist mentality like the ISIS and AL-Qaeda's of the world. The though process behind fueling these violent sentiments, needs to be eliminated so that the world can become terrorism free. That is the most critical priority of our time in the history today.

Fire at Texas Islamic center involved accelerant, hate crime a possibility?

fire.si.jpg

A building at an Islamic institute in Houston, Texas burst into flames shortly before members began arriving for morning prayers at the campus’ mosque. Investigators are trying to determine whether arson is to blame, noting an accelerant was used.

The fire broke out in a vacant building on the Quba Islamic Institute campus in southeast Houston early Friday morning. Heavy smoke filled the air as flames flared from the roof. According to local 13 Eyewitness News, fire officials have determined that an accelerant was used to hasten the fire's growthsomething that often means it was ignited intentionally.

Following this news, the Council on American-Islamic Relations urged authorities to look into the fire as a potential hate crime. Investigators are still unsure of what started the fire in the first place.

Disgusting that this massacre was given almost zero publicity in the Western media when it was an obvious hate-crime against Muslims/Arabs.

The hypocrisy is strong. I see no demands that tell Atheists to demonstrate in the 100.000's or apologize for a mad man's work but whenever a few "Muslim" maniacs do similar stuff all 1.7 billion Muslims are viewed in a similar light by alarmingly many so-called "neutral" observers. They can keep crying and demanding for all I care.

Tragomical really.

Well my brother the answer is that the media itself with academic neo-orientalists are inciting these hate crimes,So why would they full fill the need to high-light them. When things like these happen their mission is succeeded. This isn't the first time they did it and muslims aren't their first victims.John wayne films justify massacres of Native americans "Red indians",Birth of a nation tries to justify klan brutality and now we have Homeland with American sniper,Zero dark thirty, etc.

British richard dawkins has condemned this but atheist supremacists like bill maher and sam harris are silent.

They come from a family in Gaza. Tragic shooting was no doubt execution style and hate crime. It did get some coverage but no intensity around it. When it's the other way around it is very hyped and intense even if not needed.
