Let me tell you something, despite what they say, in the state of MH, many a Maharashtrian (not among the rich, but those among the poor and middle classes) secretly supports the Shit Sena and MNS. If a cop pulls you over anywhere in MH, and you happen to have a shit Sena/MNS identity card, or an ugly flag with a lion/tiger or a different sort of tricolour in your possession, or if your number plate is in an illegible (and illegal) Marathi script, you will most likely be let off, no matter how serious a traffic offence you may have committed, and it's the same for other minor offences too. The cops (who are mostly Marathi) are hand in glove with their backward, unemployed cousins.

No, but by not supporting their filthy ways (read: elections), by calling them out on their bullshyte in the electronic and print media, and everywhere else, and by the centre taking a tough stand on these brainless, extremist nincompoops, should be a great start. My hope is that sooner rather than later, either every section of society will start to see through their mere words and hollow chest thumping, or they themselves change their views and MO. We'll just have to wait and see.

Do you support the brutal beating up of another human being? Has this poor kid caused you or your family direct or indirect bodily harm? Do you think the right way to protest whatever happened was to destroy public property that you and I have paid for? Do you think the SS has the right to go about destroying private vehicles just because these overly emotional, vernacular losers have nothing better to do in life?

The above pretty much sums up this recent bout of hooliganism on the part of the SS.
