VHP runs more than 40,000 schools in India. Ekal Vidyalaya is VHP endeavor. So research before you speak up. Who said one who does charity/philantrophic work do not speak up? The Christians shout out from the roof tops how much charity they do day in an day out. The Muslims cannot stop beating their own drums about the zakat they pay. So, guess you are not much concerned about the validity of your statement.

Now about speaking of beating or killing others, it is very rare that VHP speaks in those terms. It mostly talks of defending Hindu rights. If the situation comes that beating and killing is required to save the Hindus of India, then it will not hesitate, but it works for the time such a day should not arrive. I for one am glad they are there for us Hindus and not like Gandhi followers who would let their wives and daughters be raped and ask them to raise their rape children to be raised as good Muslims.
