Pakistan is a nation with fluctuating political fortunes and stakes. The heroes of the past are always hailed as the demons of the present and vice versa. We are an emotional mob and sometimes fail to make a right judgement. The article below has some food for thought for those who would love to enhance their horizon.

I have not read the full article; since it is an utter wastage of time, to read such kind of people. I just had a glance and noticed that at one point he has written that: "Sheikh Mujeeb's Awami League got a majority in the Elections of 1970 and instead of making him Prime Minister, he was arrested in March 1971, on charges of being traitor....". Who would tell this moron that at that time the country was under martial law, it had no constitution and therefore there was no position of "Prime Minister", as such.

What we see in the controlled media is just GIMMICKS.

The real masters are a CARTEL of civil/private servants that may include Judges,Bureaucrats,Media ,Generals and Puppets.

In the 70s when i was a YOUTH..a i really hated ZA Bhutto because the puppet media vividly propagated that he was a traitor,dacoit and a killer etc. It took me some decades to realise the real culprits. Its just a handful of people who in every era push us years behind.

I agree Bhutto was a shrewd genius. He instrumented masses in Ayubs Ouster that led to Yahya khan.The later was the most inept ruler of our history. The Establishment did not forget this and put the whole onus of East Pakistan debacle on him. He did some good moves to please them but their mind was made up.They used Qoumi ittehad to wage a phoney islamic movement and vote rigging issue to undermine him, the rest is our dark history.

The surrender was a completely different game and the outcome of a very complex series of events.

One needs to bear in mind where those events started in the first place.

It was Bhutto leading the juggernaut of Socialism in the form of "Roti - Kapra - Makan".

It was him who started the slide by not accepting the election outcome and then then the resultant Army action and the war.

It is better to keep the events in the sequence as they happened.
