Chances of Iran Getting T-50

I found interesting information like to share with you. Talking about Su-30, Su-35, Grippen, F-22, F-35 there are nice info out there for comparison.

This shows Grippen RCS to be 0.1 square meter. Amazing for a 4.5 gen aircraft. See how it detects the 10 square meter RCS Su-30 even with less powerful radar.

I guess you all have seen the next one in the Aussie website. It is a nice one and shows based on the old data the detection range of different radars:

Again it shows the detection range of Su-35 lower than its counterpart due to lower quality RF front end (low noise amplifier and DSP together) but this only considering the illuminator is the aircraft Tx and no further illumination from ground which offsets the difference I assume.
I was looking to find RCS for SU-35 but couldn't I believe it is in 1 meter range and not the huge 10 meter of SU-30 but I couldn't, instead I found this interesting.

It says Grippin (JAS39) to be minimum 1.9 but the other site says 0.1 so probably it is skewed anyway if someone has comparisons good to provide it here

I don't know about the Su-34 but the Su-30 is definitely higher RCS than the F-15, chiefly because the Su-30 is HUGE. Like ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE. It doesn't really matter though since they are both 4th gen.

But I do doubt those figures for the stealth fighters though. The F-35 is said to have a min. RCS of 0.0015, not 0.6. The F-22 RCS is several times smaller simply because it has been designed for more comprehensive stealth.

I don't know about the Su-34 but the Su-30 is definitely higher RCS than the F-15, chiefly because the Su-30 is HUGE. Like ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE. It doesn't really matter though since they are both 4th gen.

well, I didn't mean they are equal but certainly not 100% higher. also comparing their wingspan, it's 13.05 VS 14.7

also I have read some articles in western sources which don't even consider the F-22 a real gen 5 fighter!
F-35 with a single engine buried deep inside the body is way more stealthy than F-22.

If F-35 is a crap, then I can say the same thing about F-22, but as I said F-35 has one engine and covers it's engine reflexes much better than F-22.

The F-35 was designed for frontal stealth. The F-22 is the one which is a no cost spared, all aspect stealth. Thats why the F-22 rear looks like this:

It's max speed is Mach 1.8
In terms of stealth it can not match the F-22

F-35 is somewhat capable as a strike aircraft, but its horrible for air to air combat.

F-35 will be the forefront of Americans airforce, with or without F-22. but you can't say the same about F-22.

Project is stalled and waiting for further investment in the project. But Iran is more familiar with Russian engine. Recently they fitted Russian RD93 engine in F5 planes and works fine.

Bro, where do you get the impression that the F-35 is more stealthy than the F-22? Some fanboy media articles? Even the USAF has said the F-22 is more stealthy. Stealth depends on shaping and materials, both superior in the F-22. It's larger size is not the deciding factor. I also don't know where you get the idea that 2 engines are somehow less stealthy than 1 - maybe from just overall size.

No buddy, F-35 is not more stealthier than the F-22 it's RCS is bigger than the F-22

US is building the F-35 so it can export it! to make MONEY! It is not the forefront of American technology! It's the forefront of American Capitalism!

The F-22 is such a capable fighter that the US has banned it's export vs F-35 where US is practically running around the world trying sell that junk as fast as it can!

watch the video the F-35 got beaten by an F-16 and the F-16 isn't really an advanced top of the line fighter that means
F-35 would have no chance against the Typhoon, French Rafale, Gripen, Su-30, Su-35, T-50, MiG-35 and a whole list of other fighters!
