Third ceremony as part of honouring those who fought bravely against all odds during 1971 war was held at Malir Garrison in Karachi.
Rich tribute paid to the resilient members of Bihari community including those who were part of Civil Armed Forces of erstwhile East Pakistan during 1971 War. Mementos were received by the veterans and their families.

We Biharis lost a lot in 1971 , by the hands of Mukti Bahini and due to our loyalty to Pakistan.
Our family lost everything .
We had a large agricultural farm in East Pakistan and other properties. We had to leave all that and Re-Migrate to West Pakistan.
This was our second migration and second loss of everything. First migration was from India at the creation of Pakistan.

At long last....

This Muhajir community was subjected to the worst atrocities in '71. Even the Indian journalists and authors have acknowledged this....

The systematic and well planned ethnic cleansing of the Muhajir community in the East Pak by Mujib's party men started by the late 1970. It looked like an intelligence ops of the caliber of RAW/MOSAD/KGB etc. to provoke the Pak army into taking action, so that the next phases of the ops could be initiated. Over a million Muhajir folks were killed, raped, maimed, burnt etc. with the hallmarks of the Hindutva style pogroms they routinely perpetrate on the Muslims in India. Even the babies, women and elderly weren't spared! What happened to Mujib's family in 1975 (whole family elimination) was the template of what happened in every Muhajir household during the break-up of Pak....

The Pak military action to put a stop to it came too late on March 25, '71, and it was too little! And, the rest is history!! The collective failure and incompetency of the Pak establishment are beyond any rational explanations! Hopefully, they won't repeat it.....

Not all.
Those who migrated to West Pakistan in 1947 were unaffected.
Since Bengal was right next to Bihar , we Bihari Muslims migrated to what was then East Pakistan and got established there.
Then came 1971 and we got killed and plundered....again

Salut!!

The Biharis of occupied East Pakistan and Kashmiris of Occupied Kashmir are the symbol of resistance called Pakistan.

another ceremony .

Afghans were refugees meaning they would all go back.
While bringing beharis means adding another 2-3 million ppl to our already swollen population

Waoo..... hats off to you....

Just to let you know if not aware that these beharis are Pakistani (despite of all the hardships they're facing, they kept their Pakistani identity) & they have every right to be back in their home country.

And secondly, do you really think that Afghans (Millions) will ever go back. They have done intermarriages and thanks to our corrupt system several hundred thousand got NADRA ID cards....

So, if we can kept these traitors on our land then why not the patriotic Beharis ....

When we can host 4 million afghans then why can't bring back 2.5 million Biharis from Bangladesh,... there are in very sorry state there in camps....

The underclass uneducated Bihari population in Bangladesh (Dhaka) _was_ living in dire straits however they have been given improved housing in another area in Dhaka other than Muhammadpur Bihari refugee camp. But turns out Biharis don't want to leave and want to stay in these squalid conditions in Muhammadpur.

The next generation of Biharis have learned Bengali and are well-assimilated in the Bangladeshi mainstream in jobs, education and other opportunities. They are also enjoying full citizenship now for many years. Migration to Bangladesh does mean Biharis have to adapt to the new culture and maybe also keep their own root culture at home. Just like the Bengalis in Karachi.

But Karachi Bengalis don't have citizenship I believe, and no NADRA card either.

Not even 2.5 million...Its hardly 2 or 3 laks i.e 0.2 million.

The reason why they aren't being brought back is because of the fact that they don't have ethnic population in Pakistan to support them.

Afghans have Pakistani Pashtuns to support them

Biharis don't

Apart from Punjabis , most of the Pakistan's population is ethno fascist.

Send a ship and bring em back
Devide the cammunity in different cities so no one experiences a big demographic shift or a burden of population

For example every municipaliy should be asked to accommodate atleast 70K migrants

Build a bihari colony in multiple cities like Faisalabad, Pindi, Lahore, Peshawar, Queeta, Mardan, Multan
Every city should chip in and make this right
This won't hurt status quo anywhere if we plan it
